Fingers crossed that’s all it is. I‘m a bit pessimistic though with how things have gone since initially ordering. Originally when I clicked on the link in the email from Ford yesterday it showed a production date of Sep 26, but when I click the same link now it just says “Order confirmed.”

My November order (Lariat hybrid) finally got a VIN in the final batch too with a build date of Sep 26. I checked the status again today and now it has reverted to “Order confirmed” without a build date. I am guessing the Sep 26 build date for Sep 8th VINs was an error.
