Happy to hear you are just as excited for the Maverick as we are! :)
If this is really somebody from Ford Motor Company. Can you tell us exactly how the order and allocations system works? I have a pretty simple build XLT AWD with no extras but the light duty trailer hitch , a full size spare, and the in cab power inverter.

I mean I'm thinking y'all use an Ouija board, some voodoo, and a spinney wheel with the color chips on it to figure out what's getting built that week. I would love to be able to try out the sport mode on a new maverick.

I only have a little over 300 miles on my Cactus Gray XLT, but I've already become intoxicated with Sport Mode!

I see info that suggests about a 6 second 0-60 time when you also have the 4K tow package (due to different gear ratios) but, just like I experienced with a 2014 Escape we had with the 2.0 Ecoboost, I think the time from 0-45 is even more relevant. I don't have any actual data, but it 'feels' even faster than the 6 second 0-60 would indicate... I think the 0-45 is truly blistering quick, and then it settles a little on the way to 60.

It sure is fun! And that little 'circle-hand' freaky button is actually quite handy since it's for the 'auto hold' of the brakes. A quick leap off the line at the stoplight is even easier when you can have your foot already off the brake : )

Love. My. Maverick.

Same, maybe we can Forscan it in
I believe I read in another thread that you can but don't quote me on that. Also, I have zero experience with Forscan, mainly because my other Ford is a 1994 Choo Choo f150, but I would love any advice you have on that if you have any experience using Forscan. Thanks!

You can Forscan it. You have to get the extended license. Either a free trial or $12 for the year. You can turn Eco and Sport mode on in an FX4. Weeeeeeee
