The salesman just texted me that he did not have any pictures. I told him that I thought that was impossible that no one at the dealership took a picture so they could file a claim and please get me a picture. I donāt think they have any plans to expedite another Lariat unless one is not claimed.
I hate to say this. I really do. But I have a sinking feeling you may be SOL.

Iām an optimist and Iām sure this is happening for a reason! CO was not my first color of choice And there was no moon roof so maybe the one that shows up will have a moon roof. Iām not going to be a fussy about a color add this point. Or maybe Iām not supposed to have a maverick and my F150 lightning will arrive sooner!

@GreenLady, you're going to need to demand pictures.
-If the truck was in fact damaged and returned to Ford, they have to have pictures.
-If they don't give you pictures, you will need to call Ford Customer Service and have them verify the vehicle was returned.
-If the truck was not returned to Ford, you will need to report the dealer to Ford.
If the dealer agreed to take your deposit with the intention of selling you the vehicle, then sold it to someone else, they misled you and open themselves to a lawsuit and problems with Ford.

This is where they need to bring back flogging.So last night I get a call from someone at the dealership thanking me for my business. I replied I hadnāt completed a transaction there yet and was still waiting to hear about my truck delivery. He said it would be arriving at the dealer today, Wednesday, and my salesman would be giving me a call. I thanked him, hung up and started packing for my 8 hour road trip. I was so excited I got up at 3 AM and left by 4:30 AM. As I was driving through Jacksonville my salesman called and I was so excited! He said āI have some good news and some news that might make you a little upset.ā Then he said the truck arrived but it had been damaged on the transport truck and the roof was so damaged they had to return it! I was stunned and couldnāt say anything for a minute or two and then I just blurted out that I was not a little upset, I was a lot upset! He apologized and said they would give me highest priority for another Lariat that was unclaimed. Iām afraid that did not make me feel any better! Back to the waiting game
Moon roof? Hell, you could of had them cut the damaged roof off your crushed truck and had a convertible! Missed opportunity
