Ford's email: bad news or good news?

Received Ford's general email informing scheduling issues but reassuring commitment to deliver.
Does that means my scheduling is close? Or are they preparing me for a very long wait?

This is Ford's way of increasing the number of heart attacks just before the holidays to ensure the hospitals remain fully staffed.

Honestly, I think it just means their auto-pilot email server got to your day to send you that note so you feel like they are engaged with you as a customer. Not a promise of any sort so just file it and keep filing them as they come about every 45 days.

It’s not really good or bad, it’s just news. It does mean you are 45 days closer to your truck. But it doesn’t really tell you anything about when you’re going to get your truck.

I received several such emails over the 12 months and two weeks Ford took to build mine. It's nothing to really be concerned about. Someday you'll get an email saying your on the schedule and a VIN

My happiness lasted about 2 seconds

You will get one every 45 days until you are scheduled. Literally means nothing.

With earlier orders there were lots of complaints about long waits with no communication from Ford. These emails are Ford's attempt to keep communication coming even though they don't tell you anything.
