Well it's just doesn't sit well that a Lariat was built and delivered before his while being told there's chip shortages. Of course there's more to story, but on the surface based on what his dealer told him there's something wrong with what has happened. Now, Jim Farley did say the supplies that were available were going to the vehicles that make them more money, so that was why I said that could be by why the Lariat was made and delivered before DryHeat's XLT. Just my 2 cents.I don't know if the cost has anything to do with it. I have a Lariat Lux hybrid with moonroof and hard trifold tonneau -- MSRP 32.8k -- and I was the same build week as DryHeat. So I feel that it's just more of the random chaotic inconsistent process that Ford seems to implement.
