Yea, great option. I don't want to have to troubleshoot a speaker buzzing issue! What if were the door panel? Or how about the speaker mounts? Or maybe the speaker itself? If could be other things causing the problem as well. No, don't want to have to go down that road.
Thanks, let me know how it goes.Mine does have some rattling but it is not the speaker. Best I can tell so far, it is coming from the 4 bolts that are exposed on the inner door handle/inner door handle component. While the cut away handle is cool, it experiences a lot of vibration from the door speakers. First thing I am going to try is some rubber washers between the bolts and the panel and then go from there if the rattling continues.
The even bigger question is, will rattling doors and numerous other quality issues be the deal breaker?I think the big question here is if this is a deal-breaker for zBernie.
So far no rattling doors and other issues have cropped up, but only time will really tell. The even bigger question is, will rattling doors and numerous other quality issues be the deal breaker?
Did you replace door and rear speakers?Mine dont rattle, but i spent $40 total and replaced with some decent cheap Boss speakers, it really helped the highs, i can make every tink, chime, and click on the top end. I listen to alot of 60s and there is so much background sounds i havent never heard before, and bass, i have bass on Sam Cooke!!
I have purchased front / rear JBL clubs, just gotta do it.I did, i didnt go the $500 way with infinity or Rockford, i did some $40 total Boss speakers in front/rear. But i did spend alot of time and effort in getting the accostics in better shape, along with sound dampning, i would recomend everyone perform this for the experience and you learn alot about your Mav.
