I think the big question here is if this is a deal-breaker for zBernie.

Reviewer gave it a "B" rating for its class and price point.

Watch and listen to all the audio he plays. He did note that on Bass heavy tunes with the Bass turned way up that it sounds slappy so as others suggest better speakers will probably help.

Mine does have some rattling but it is not the speaker. Best I can tell so far, it is coming from the 4 bolts that are exposed on the inner door handle/inner door handle component. While the cut away handle is cool, it experiences a lot of vibration from the door speakers. First thing I am going to try is some rubber washers between the bolts and the panel and then go from there if the rattling continues.

When I press on hold in the middle of the speaker grill the vibration goes away.

Yea, great option. I don't want to have to troubleshoot a speaker buzzing issue! What if were the door panel? Or how about the speaker mounts? Or maybe the speaker itself? If could be other things causing the problem as well. No, don't want to have to go down that road.

Anyone figure out the door speaker rattle mine is in the right front door. Not really wanting to take it in for that if I can fix it like I did the back seat latch with a 2mm shim

The even bigger question is, will rattling doors and numerous other quality issues be the deal breaker?

So far no rattling doors and other issues have cropped up, but only time will really tell.

Mine dont rattle, but i spent $40 total and replaced with some decent cheap Boss speakers, it really helped the highs, i can make every tink, chime, and click on the top end. I listen to alot of 60s and there is so much background sounds i havent never heard before, and bass, i have bass on Sam Cooke!!

I did, i didnt go the $500 way with infinity or Rockford, i did some $40 total Boss speakers in front/rear. But i did spend alot of time and effort in getting the accostics in better shape, along with sound dampning, i would recomend everyone perform this for the experience and you learn alot about your Mav.

I cant believe the difference, everytime i drive it, i tell the wife damn it sounds good for a OEM head unit..and it will crank without speaker rattle at 17 is about as high as i go. I listen to the Saturday night safety dance, and it sounds damn good 80s dance/EDM.

I saved a good bit to use on other mods. Lug nuts, tire balance and rotation, oil change coming up, i am over 6500m and getting ready for first oil change and tire balance.
