What's everyone gotten in terms of insurance premium quotes for their 2021 Maverick?

I haven't gotten my VIN yet but I called up Geico and still managed to get a quote of $350 / 6 months. I'm 40 yrs old with no accident claims within last 8 years.

Insurance prices vary so much between different areas that comparing rates is virtually useless.

Yup. Double "yup" if you're in a no-fault state.

Heck, my coworker and I are demographically almost identical. We even drive the same make/model vehicle, and commute about the same distance. His truck is one year older. His insurance was nearly double what mine is. Only difference is that I live in the 'burbs while he lives downtown.

We confirmed it when I told him to just say the car is garaged at my house. His insurance bill became less than mine.

$58 a month is sweet, I pay $76 for my 2010 Rav4, (30 yo with one accident 9 years ago and a few traffic tickets).

Also tough to guage with variables on coverage. For example, on a new car I ask for $0 deductible on comprehensive. Someone wants to break in my truck, I'm not lifting a penny, Same for windshields, etc.

As previously stated, too many variables to compare. I can say that my quote is $6 more a month for my Maverick over my 2018 Honda Accord with same coverage. I’m pleased.

Temporary estimate, when I asked, is about $37 more a month.
Just under $100 overall. Waiting for crash test result first, before a
definitive answer can be had. I was thinking even higher than that!
So, if it’s only around $100, I ain’t gonna complain!!

USAA has really good rates for me. Can't say what the amount is because I have a 17 year old on my plan so ... it's not super accurate. Basically adding the Maverick is around $120 more a month every 6 months. But I'm old(ish) and an Army Disabled Vet.

Ran my VIN through the progressive estimate/replacement on their website - a whopping $0.64 rounding error more than my 2019 Ranger :ROFLMAO:

I know there are a lot of variables when it comes to insurance. But has anyone started that process yet? Has anyone compared different truck lines? I have not seen any crash data, wouldn't that also play into an insurance rate?

Well, my current ride is a '97 Camry with not much more than liability coverage, so I know my cost will go up. Hard to compare much without knowing deductibles, coverages and such.

Quoted $157/6 months for full coverage- More than half off any other car we have insured- The safety technology is kicking in some nice savings $$$
