lol your posts are so awesome!I don’t think it’s supply and demand as much as impatience. There seems to be a general sense of urgency with purchases that defy logic

I imagine that AutoZone, NAPA, O'Reilly and Advance Auto Parts will buy or lease possibly tens of thousands of Ford Mavericks in the next few years. As far as American made goes, all Crown Vics were built in Canada and Ford sold a zillion of those to government agencies in the US.Maybe fleet, but government doubtful because they aren’t American made. The explorer will always be the leader there. And with the bronco sport immediate popularity cooling off already, they can just build less of those and more mav if that’s the mix they need. I’ll even go three years from now for the sake of argument but something new will come along, and the market will stabilize.
You're not wrong, I was using Autotrader and Ford's website. Of the three you provide one is a prospect. Hope it turns out!The SEARCH function is your friend.
So I'm a little confused with this truck, the options are all each individually more expensive then my truck (per window stickers) and the only two options it has that the one I'm getting doesn't has is the first edition and red (which I'm not a huge fan of). In the end both trucks would cost me exactly the same price lol. Am I missing something because that's 20 hours away.Took me 30 seconds. You owe me $1k finders fee.

The Vic’s were Union made. Mexico is a different story.I imagine that AutoZone, NAPA, O'Reilly and Advance Auto Parts will buy or lease possibly tens of thousands of Ford Mavericks in the next few years. Yes, I can see Chevrolet and Ram coming up with very similar versions of the Maverick. That could certainly lessen demand. "Inventory clearance sales" may be seen again.
Hermosillo is unionized as well. The Vic’s were Union made. Mexico is a different story.
Correct but not at the pay/benefits level of caw and uaw workers. Last I saw it was about 10 dollars compared to 100 per hour for their packages. More a token than anything imo.Hermosillo is unionized as well.
They might be offering incentives in a few years, but I really doubt it. What the fed has done to our economy over the last two years is going to have ripple effects for the next couple decade at least. Prices of everything are going up (including vehicles) and will stay up for a long time. I hope I am wrong, but I would not bet on it.I won’t need to tell you I told you so, you will always remember you paid too much. I don’t care if you overpay. You asked for an opinion and I think anyone that pays over sticker on a vehicle that will be so common in two years it will have incentives is a fool.
I think you're exactly right, that plus my wife has zero interest in driving to pick up a car while I'm still deployed, which means everything you said plus this truck getting delivered gets it done. I'll just have to show up to shinny new (overpriced) truck!!As others suggested, get a quote from CarMax, Carvana, Vroom, etc and compare their offers to this dealership’s plus your tax savings.
In this instance I think the trade value is so heavily slanted beyond current market valuation that net ADM will actually be minimal.
If the numbers work for you I wouldn’t hesitate.
Wish I would've jumped on this band wagon when it was an option. Chapman is only 2.5 hrs north of us.They might be offering incentives in a few years, but I really doubt it. I just went food shopping with my wife last weekend, butter/milk/eggs/meat all up over 30%-40% vs what we paid two years ago (Yes I'm weird, I keep digital copies of grocery receipts). Property values are going through the roof, which means property taxes are going to follow suit. Inflation is not 7% like everyone keeps saying, its way higher.
So is paying $6k ADM a good thing? Not really, when you could place an order in 4-5 months and order it at MSRP. Its likely high volume dealers will have the $3k/4% under invoice deals going when order banks open up. Horsham/chapman are a couple hour train ride for you, if you are in the DMV and they had the 4% under invoice going. Obviously its different if you need a vehicle right away, because your old one is failing. But if you are only worried about losing the inflated value of a used vehicle, I wouldn't be. Used car prices are going to stay high, just like MSRP is going to start jumping up fast to keep pace.
