Ordering mine this afternoon (XLT Ecoboost). Paperwork ready, I just have to head to the dealership when I get off work this afternoon. No money down and no obligation. My 2000 Ranger is still hangin' on but barely. I don't mind waiting on build time, will just drive the Ranger until it gets here.

This is what it looks like Lead to order process or ROVP make your dealer show you this ,My truck is built and getting ready to ship so I assuming my order is correct

@fordvideoguy the above is an email version. My sales mgr sent be a photo of a screen shot from his phone. Believe it's fine but mostly for others as the format is different.

Would assume either way would be fine.

This is what concerns me about my order.....I got my dealer to send me a cellphone photo of an “Order Enrollment Page” (I don’t think it is the actual ROVP though?). The concerning part about that “Order Enrollment” page was that it has a statement on it that says something like “The claim is being reviewed and you (the dealer) should hear back within 72 business hours as to if the order was accepted versus declined.”

It's been like a week and a half since that order was "placed" and it still shows as "being reviewed"? Ignoring the phrase "business hours" versus "business days" (saying business hours seems really weird to me), still would seem mine is stuck in limbo.

The only option I ordered on my Velocity Blue Hybrid XL is the drop in bed liner. Hope that isn’t one of the parts that causes delays.
Have seen the pictures of the drop in beadliner it blocks access to the cubbies in the back of the bed also the 12 volt plug in

I wouldn't want the DIBL. Get an aftermarket spray in.

I have a drop in on my Chevy Colorado and like it. To each his own I guess.
Do you use your bed a lot? If so, have you ever taken the liner out? You'll likely find a lot of scratches, possibly (probably) rusty ones. Spray in doesn't have that.

He's a Piney from NJ, rust really isn't too much of an issue in NJ especially down in that area. My father lives down that way and his 20+ year old Honda is almost completely rust free with the complete original factory exhaust in fantastic condition (250k miles). As opposed to Portland, OR which probably sees a pretty decent amount of snow and salt. I would say the probability and severity of damage from a drop in bed liner is very dependent on geographic location.

We have exceptionally little snow and salt is brand new to our roads in the last few years as snow storms have been getting worse. Our cars are generally rust free, unlike much of the NE (perhaps higher up, it's all the same to me, ha). But water sitting under drop in bed liners cause rust, I've seen it on otherwise rust free trucks, albeit they are older.

I get what you're saying but there has to be some variable because I've seen plenty of trucks that have had a drop in liner for 10+ years with zero rust issues in the bed........

Probably owner abuse? Dunno. I'll stick with spray in, be it OEM or aftermarket.

Not necessarily, ask for screenshots of ROVP approval.
Does having a scheduled week of production from Ford mean you are in the clear? We are calling our dealer today to confirm. We got an email saying we need to convert our reservation to an order by tomorrow....but I am wondering if that email just went out to everyone who is on the dealerships "interested in maverick" list

Will report back

Matt

I use it a fair amount for kayaking and moving furniture for myself or others. Have never hauled dirt, rocks, leaves, etc. It is a 2012. Could there be some rust or scratches underneath the bed liner ? Possibly, but I don’t really care and when I sell it, that person won’t care either. The liner is in terrific shape and it is not like they are buying something from 1981 where chunks of the bed might fall off from decades of rust. It has 126,000 miles on it. Anybody who buys it MIGHT get another 80-90,000 and will probably put on a lot more miles per year so it won’t cause any issues for them either. As for my Maverick, I anticipate using the bed even less than my current truck and again am not worried about any rust causing parts of the bed to fall out over the next ten or fifteen years.

thank you so much for all your help on this forum

Scheduled build weeks do not show up on this tracker correct?

https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking

As far as I understand, since we have a VIN and received a scheduled build date email we should be in the clear

I am going to call our dealership guy today too

Thanks
Matt
