My dealership sort of pushed the Eco-boost in December, saying it was looking like 1-2 years for the Hybrid, fine with me but just say'in.
Wow! Your dealership is really pushing false information by saying 1-2 years for the Hybrid!! Don't they know there are thousands of hybrids already sold? Sounds like they really want you to buy the Ecoboost!

It isn't necessarily an inaccurate estimate. Unless they got a rejected customer order someone looking to buy a Mav Hybrid in December 2021 would, according to the rumored timetable, be ordering in August 2022. At the earliest production in late October/November with delivery in late November to December. So easily 12+ months.

Well upon reflection, you maybe correct. A lot is depending upon what dealership you place your order, so it could take nearly a year to receive your hybrid. If you order from a mega dealership that is receiving allocations then chances are you won't wait too many months for delivery. I do question your speculation about late delivery since MY23 is supposed to start in October 2022, which should mean MY22 should end in September 2022. So every order should be delivered in just under a year or hopefully a lot less! Of course, I'm just guessing about this I have no idea why Ford is scheduling newer orders before older orders. The only thing I've come up with is that there deals set in place that guarantees larger dealerships priority over smaller ones, this one way to explain how someone who ordered in Sept - Dec already has a build date, while there's Jun - Aug orders still waiting.

What I find surprising is the low number of XLT Lux package being ordered and yet it's still an issue for scheduling orders with that package. Add in in the number of folks who have switched to DIBL, you would think there wouldn't be an issue with SIBL. I do realize that these numbers shown on the forum is just a snapshot, yet national surveys use less data to sway people's opinions 🤔!

It seems like Rapid Red First Edition’s aren’t very popular. Mine is that with the Lariat trim. Being so few maybe they will be built sooner rather than later. I could only wish.
Can only get Rapid Red with the Lariat

I suspect that the copilot isn't higher because it really is missing some of the 'safety'/tech features that it should have (even if it cost more). I did decide to get it because I feel it is just enough, but I really would have much preferred a full tech package including adaptive cruise and lane centering. Would have paid double for those. I suspect that was left to Lariat Lux only due to chip/commodities issues for this and probably next year.

I think you are probably right - with most people ordering their own trucks, they are choosing what they want which apparently isn't black/white! I think it is partly a result of the options available which are a pretty great selection of colors overall.
Yea… I see your point. I had my heart set on ACC. Our Forester has it. My Freightliner has it and the Maverick won’t. I’m going to miss it. 😞 I would have paid more for it.
