For those that have taken delivery of their Maverick...what is the typical dealer markup?

This was not discussed when I ordered. I knew more than the salesman, but not enough to ask this question.

Thanks,

Dealer Markups have been almost the hotest topic on this forum besides waiting. I think being a late to the party you have missed much or have not read too many post. I know following pages with hundreds of posts are not easy and there are many. I recommend searching "dealer mark up or ADM".

Some paid under MSRP, Many paid MSRP and others paid MSRP + ADM. I don't believe there has been a typical markup. Like they have been all over the map.

1-5K I would say is acceptable if you’re in a rural area where the next dealer is super far. Where I live, there’s only 1 ford dealer so I’m stuck with a 5k markup (reservation) and 7k (on lot) Unless I order elsewhere and ship it in.

Agree, 1 to 5 thousand, possibly more if it's an expensive vehicle that's hard to come by right now. Plus around 1200 or so if you get all the "add ons" tint, nitro, pulse, window etching ect.

I purchased mine for 250 below MSRP (HYBRID XLT LUXURY PACKAGE 360 PILOT) and I did it order mine. I just lucky to find one that no one ordered or marked up.

The Maverick is a vehicle that isn't worth paying a markup on. If you are extremely desperate and need a Hybrid car, and no dealership around has anything available, then MAYBE 2k. And at that point, I would just recommend getting a used car.

I didn't pay any markup. In fact, I even tried negotiating $1000 off, then 500, then 250, then MSRP + free all weather floor mats but the dealer wouldn't even give me that.

If you are going for an Ecoboost, you would be dumb to pay a markup. You would be better off forking out the extra $4000 and custom order the base model Toyota Tacoma. It has about the same MPG, legendary reliability, and they never depreciate. In fact, early 2000s models in clean garage kept condition go for over what MSRP was back then.

Depends on location, relation to salesperson, and so on. I'll be paying roughly 2.5k below sticker after all is set and done. So many factors to involve

My Covid tax will be 3k as I have recently learned, but the available options otherwise are far less appealing.

Got mine with a $2500 "market adjustment" 🙄

I got mine off the lot, not via an order. Still beats the $20k+ markups I'm seeing on the bronco!

For that price I would order elsewhere and nothing over MSRP is acceptable in my book. Every Maverick I bought was at MSRP or less.
Just my 2 cents.

Basically they use Pretzel logic to determine ADM🤔

I’ve been looking for a maverick at dealerships in the SE with little luck. Jim Tidwell Ford has one,, but it’s a basic XL with XL with a 26k msrp they are selling for 35k. 🙄

Here is one of the highest % ADM I've seen asked for and it's even from a "respected" dealer around here. :ROFLMAO:

If the facts here are even remotely true and it involves that dealer (who appears to be quite active on these forums), that is extremely shitty. My XL is in transit now, and while my sales guy tried to add on unnecessary prep fees, they still technically are keeping it at MSRP. I ended up emailing the dealer principal and sales manager, and they took it off...but this is extremely shady here.
