I purchased a steering wheel with the adaptive cruise by mistake and can confirm the sccm line will not program correctly. I do not know if anyone has found the correct line for the adaptive switch pack. I am now awaiting a non adaptive switch pack.
Saaaame thing I ended up doing LOL

Replacing the left-hand cluster isn't difficult - just take your time so you don't bust the trim. It's a bit of a pain to work loose without feeling like you might break something.

I just ordered my XL last week so it will be a while before I receive it just a couple quick questions

1.Will this work with the hybrids?

2. What cable do yourecommendd purchasing for the programming?

I figure by the time the maverick arrives we'll know if simply replacing the switches will work correctly. Awesome job by the way.

Swapping switches will work correctly. I'm sure it will work on hybrids, however, I have yet to find one to do it on. The obdlink EX is what I'm using, its the best one out there that I've found

I'm waiting on the switches and the Obdlink EX, and will let you know if it works on the hybrid within a few days of them showing up.

To add for anyone wanting to buy the switches only that are used on a 2020 Ford Escape. For the right switch you most likely will need the one without the heads up display.

The Ford part number I found for that is LB5Z9C88F

This is what the heads up display does. Short answer it projects the cluster screen on the lower windshield.
https://www.ford.com/support/how-to...st-features/what-is-the-ford-head-up-display/

The left switch for cruise control I found the following part numbers

The correct one without adaptive cruise control part number is LJ6Z9C88AB

If anyone wants to install the sensors needed and wants to try to get adaptive cruise control working the part number for that button is LB5Z9C88H

Thanks for all the great work users here have done on getting this working so far.

So no point buying this now.

To correct some info those part numbers are not Ford part numbers but ones used on
https://www.oemfordpart.com/

I did find the switches being sold directly for the Maverick through
https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/steering/steering-parts-other/steering-wheel-13291447-1

I don't know if those are the oem Ford part numbers but they do specifically say they are the correct ones for a Maverick with cruise control.

FYI I found my 2020 escape wheel with leather for only a few bucks more and the leather is actually pretty nice. Might be worth the wait. If you buy this you're essentially just getting the same vinyl wheel with the different switches. The two switches alone could be had for a lot less than 100 plus shipping and the swap is really easy if you do want to just keep the XL vinyl wheel to save money.

Oooh paddle shifters
I know, right??!?

The "L" button on the drive wheel will need to become "S" as in Bronco...or so my logic and myimaginary lizard king tells me.

Your numbers match my findings.

I should have everything early next week, and will get right on it!
