My XL is iconic silver so I like the idea of having one matched. But catalogs are lacking info so there's a chance of getting one painted direct from Ford despite my catalog not listing it. Sometimes a "donor" vin is needed until catalogs are complete.

The silver grill bar is for the lariat trim.

Yes each trim level has different grill & grill bars are different color, the silver grill bar is Lariat trim (w/in grill sensor for adaptive cruise) & gray color for xlt with black for the xl
