I'm not all that interested in data on trucks still in process. What I'd most like to see is data on completed orders. From that I feel I might have a more realistic idea of how long it might take for delivery vs. just reading through individual comments.

I haven't ordered yet, so I'm just curious to know if I'd be able to expect delivery in four months, six months, nine, twelve, or whatever.

An added bonus would be seeing a breakdown of that same data sorted by dealers that have had the quickest turnaround.
My truck was dealer ordered, but it was ordered August 14 and was built on November 16th. Expected delivery was December 15th, but it finally got delivered yesterday. I'm picking it up on Fri. Hopefully that helps you.

Illinois not making this ’Top 10’ explains why there hasn’t been a Maverick spotted in the wild. There has been 4 EB’s spotted on 3 Dealer lots, including my dealer, who had 2!
I Probably confused him with the ‘thanks no thanks, I’ll wait till you have my horse (hybrid)’ response when he asked if I wanted to take 1 for a spin. His reply to me was “It’ll be a while” and was at least honest.
Obviously, no Hybrids seen on a Dealer lot, yet.
I agree 👍 I'm from Illinois ! Impossible !

Hi All,

I did a quick calculation on how long it takes for a Ford Maverick to be delivered after its order date based on the table at the start of this thread. NB: I deleted some data points that exceeded 365 days (is it possible for a truck to be on order that long?) and I deleted data points that had a negative time from order to delivery since that does not make sense (you can't take delivery 2 weeks before you order something).

The intent of the chart is to determine if the difference between the date of order and date of delivery is trending over time. As you can see in the chart I also broke the chart into two lines based on engine type (Hybrid vs. Ecoboost) since that seems to have a major impact on the delivery time frame. The data is somewhat sparse and fairly dirty/crufty so its possible that this does not capture the real world trend. I encourage everyone that has taken delivery to update your delivery time so that we can get higher quality data for the analysis.

What add ins did you get?
I didn't add anything besides the standard first edition package. That pretty much covered everything I could possibly need. Not sure how long it will take to actually see that the truck is built and moving along. I've been checking literally every day! I sold my Audi to CarMax back in mid-December and am relying only on my (beloved) Yamaha TW200 right now for transportation.

Created from the club order stats. Note that the data is only as good as the information entered. Lots of duplicate entries and entries with questionable data. Also, how many members entered their data when ordered and then never updated their data when their truck was built? But overall it gives a picture where orders stand.

I put my order in July 14, 2021...with build date of Feb 14, 2022...estimated delivery date...oh, April 4? 2022? I think according to the graph my wait is a little longer than 140 days.

Just curious, was your order a hybrid or eco boost? It seems like the average number of days has basically stayed high for hybrid - right up until they closed out all 2022 hybrid orders and told people they could sign up for a 2023 hybrid starting in August.

Also, of course, the numbers in the graph are 7 day moving averages so people in each week had numbers higher and lower than that average. If something in your order was on a “constraint” list then you likely get hit with additional delays.

Still, over time, it seems like eco boost delivery times are trending down. And since they will shortly stop making 2022 hybrids maybe additional factory space will open up for eco boost engines? Pure speculation on my part…

Appreciate the stats… Looks like I’m one of the lucky ones although my order has been stuck in production since December 16th. Ordered Hyrbid, XLT-Lux package, carb grey and manual rear window with rollout bed cover. Ordered on Sept 27th. Received production date of Nov 23rd and then changed to Dec 9th. Vin # was/is accessible on Dec 16th and modules are populated. Estimated delivery date of Jan 17th to 23rd. Spoke with Ford and dealer and both tell me the Jan date is still showing for them. Is anyone in the same boat as me that the order shows in production and will be built in a couple of days but no update since December 9th moving to the built status? I’m in New Jersey so unless my order has already shipped the delivery date is way off.

My order in July was a Hybrid XL.

Have made three Maverick sightings in the wild- all Oxford White.
Now I am pretty sure it’s t one guy who drives around a lot.
NO Santa Cruz sightings.
I picked up my Cactus Grey Lariat Lux EB AWD the day after Thanksgiving. 700 trouble-free miles so far. I have only seen a couple of vehicles at my dealer, all XL's, none in the wild. I have seen 4 Santa Cruz's out driving, too bad for those people!!! :D

Interesting. How many hybrid first editions have been built? Delivered?

Man, I’d love to know. I ordered in early august, but no build date for my hybrid first edition (carb gray).

Thanks for compiling this data!
I ordered the same FE carbonized grey w/3 addons in mid August. My be we will both get email on 1/13.
