Tracked my Maverick today by getting the rail car number from the dealer. Called the number(800 235-2352) and gave the 4 letters of the rail car followed by the six numbers. The railcar was in Oklahoma on 12-21 and Kansas today .(12-23). Received a delivery date to Michigan of 1-4.

With the module tracker tool it shows my BCM modules but says PCM data not found. Visiability report shows as the truck being "produced". Does that mean its fully built?

Tracked the rail car today. (12-31) It has been in the same spot for several days. It’s in Walbridge , Ohio. Does anyone know if a car carrier picks the truck up in Ohio and delivers it to its final destination in Michigan.

The Ford Tracker hasn't been working all day 01/02. Hopefully it'll be operational again on Monday.

I've been able to track the long, slow but steady progress on the rail line, but now it's just sitting at the final rail destination awaiting transport to the dealer. Been a week now. Knowing it's so close but out of my control is KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!

The Ford Tracker hasn't been working all day 01/02. Hopefully it'll be operational again on Monday.
I'm glad it's not just me. I've only been able to get a result after inputting order number and vin 3 or 4 times in the last month.

Talked with my salesman the other day and he said that Ford’s email/tracking system is the worst that he’s worked with. He’s been a salesman for 12 yrs and with multiple companies. That being said, I’m not surprised! I have yet to receive any notifications from Ford; I rely on bugging my salesman bi-weekly. Lol

Talked with my salesman the other day and he said that Ford’s email/tracking system is the worst that he’s worked with. He’s been a salesman for 12 yrs and with multiple companies. That being said, I’m not surprised! I have yet to receive any notifications from Ford; I rely on bugging my salesman bi-weekly. Lol

Latest Update: Shortly after that switcheroo happened, we got an email from Ford, DATED JANUARY 3rd, and it reads:

THE PRODUCTION DATE FOR YOUR VEHICLE HAS CHANGED.
We have made an adjustment to the production date for your 2022Maverick XLT.

Your vehicle is now scheduled to be built the week of December 20, 2021. We will continue to keep you informed regarding your vehicle's production status.​

Thanks. At this point, I don't expect to see our truck until late January or early February. I imagine it'll take awhile to get up here to Vermont.

Oh my gosh. Check out my update at 6:52pm above. Worst communication. So confusing. I think I may need to call Ford Central tomorrow and ask for an explanation of what is actually going on. 🙄

Have tracked the rail car to Missouri then
Illinois to Ohio and now it’s in Michigan . It’s 1-4-22 today and had an update of delivery status of 1-10-22.

If you are going by rail, it’s more complicated…

First you will need the rail car letters and numbers. It is on the visibility report or DORA which is from the dealership. You MAY be able to get it from the SVT people but they seem often in a cranky mood and may tell you to get it from the dealer.

There are two major rail companies.

CSX is everything east of the mississippi
UP is everything west of the mississippi

But they all start out on CSX so once they have it in their system they will follow it all the way.

So, how do you track your truck on a railcar?

First and most important. Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

NS Norfolk Southern
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked.
