My son drove the Mav this morning and reported that the auto start did not want to function this morning. He also said the transmission was shifting rough as well. It was in the low 30's this morning and I asked if he let the thing warm up before he left. He said it was doing it while at operating temps on the interstate.

I'll look into it and report back....

Yay warranty LOL

Ya know, I’m wondering if you’re one of the unlucky ones that had the transmission fluid overfilled from the factory

All seems to be ok for now. I drove it last night and it was shifting normal.

If it was quite cold it may just be struggling for air some cars are a prick in the winter especially turbo's. And if you smoke in it/higher miles/ potential debris from season and road. Mabe change the filters for cabin and engine. As for the auto start could be numerous things from simple to not so simple.

Has 2k on it and is 2 months old. Has a new K&N panel filter...No smoking inside.

After having the axle seal replaced on mine (leaking) it has been shifting weird/slipping primarily when it shuts off and turns back on. If you figure it out I'd love to hear what it was. I've taken to disabling auto stop/start since it seems to reduce the problem. The dealers I've taken it to can't seem to figure it out either.

This might be of help too. This is closer to what mine does:

Mine eventually shifts though.
