I have an appointment to get my drivers side rear tire sensor replaced next week. Getting tired of seeing that fault every time I start up! Cost will be $75 at our local tire shop.
I have a second one that has gone bad, but haven’t fixed it yet.

My 2025 Lariat started having issues with the TPMS system about 1.5 months ago. Got a notice on the dash and the front left tire shows nothing. It's intermittent so I took it to the dealer(Serramonte Ford in Colma, CA) and then took it to the dealer, then took it to the dealer....... Afte four visits they have determined it's a part that isn't in stock and will be in August 15, 2026. That was a couple weeks ago. Fingers crossed they have it actually figured out. I am skeptical.

I guess I'm lucky. Not quite a real inconvenience for me. Part of something I've gotten used to owning a Maverick.
When my sensors go out they always come back on within 20-50 miles. They ALWAYS come back on and show the correct pressure. I'm convinced the majority of these incidences with the Maverick is not the sensors themselves but something in the truck. Hopefully the dealership that you have your truck at will actually show you what was wrong and you can update us.

Here's one example👇I have more.

My dealership insists it's not a sensor. At this point they have spent so much in labor they could have replace the entire system and been ahead!

I'll post another picture of a different location. If I can find it.
I've had a driver side left go out but come right back.

Something I have not seen yet in this thread is that your sensor strength can be tested for free at many tire locations. I know Discount Tire will do that.
If your batteries are getting low, it might be beneficial to have the TPMS sensors changed with your tire replacement, as that can save some install cost.

Thank you I did not know that.
I think the batteries in my sensors should/ hopefully be good for about 10 years.
I don't think my sensors are bad.
I think it's either the computer or the device that picks up the signal from the sensors.

The sensor's life is primarily defined by mileage rather than time, as they only transmit while moving.
My Subaru is still on the original sensors after 14 years and 75K on the clock.

Well that pretty much determines it. I've only got 28,000 miles on Maverick. I'm probably actually looking at a 10 years time span on my tpms sensors.
OR
Depending on when I have to get new tires and how much they want for new TPMS sensors when I get new tires🤷‍♂️

While the tool to cause a sensor to respond to the vehicles relearn procedure is pretty cheap (the Mav's only need to be driven to figure out which wheel went where so unneeded), the tool to actually read the sensor and battery info is not.
But could be useful. Especially for friends & family - ask for $10 to confirm their issue before they take it in for something costly - perhaps the tool would pay for itself!
Hmmm - family pays more or less than friends....

A cheaper one that appears to use an app. Would be nice if the battery column info was more than "Normal" - but maybe that depends on what the sensor provides.

$100 for a $30 sensor + $15 Mount & balance

And the dealer probably claimed the part to Ford under warranty 🤦🏻

Dealership service departments have no shame ...
Dealer had to put diagnostics computer on for $150-$250 so $100 deduction extended warranty was cheaper!!!

I got a Tire Pressure Sensor Fault warning on the dash screen.
A sensor fault warning is for the sensor which counts the revolutions not for the tpms. I think the tpms batteries are good for 10years or 125k miles whichever come first

Dropped off the Truck at our local Tire shop this morning. They replaced the sensor and had it ready for us to pick up before we finished breakfast.
