I noticed a small oil drip from my 2025 Maverick at only 400 miles. Upon inspection, I noticed that it was coming off of a casting protrusion between the oil filter and the oil pressure sensor. I could not find any trace of the source of the drip. I took the truck to the dealer, and they claimed the leak was from the sensor. The sensor was replaced, and I returned home with the truck after a total of three and a half days in the shop. The next morning I found the same drip in the same place. I will return the truck back to the shop first thing next week. Has anyone else had a similar problem with a leaky oil pressure sensor? Does anyone have any other thoughts of what the culprit might be? This is my first posting on this forum, so forgive me if I am in the wrong place. Thanks, Jeff

I can’t offer much help on pinpointing the source but this doesn’t help ease my mind on a similar mystery oil leak going on with mine, however mine is at the timing cover somewhere.

I got my truck back from the dealer. The cause, according to the tech, was a loose bolt near the housing to which the solenoid (not sensor as I previously stated) is attached to. As of this morning, all looked good. My guess is that it may not have ever been the solenoid. I think it might have been a loose bolt all along. I lost six days of use of my truck, to which I owned for less that six weeks. I still like the truck, and I hope this is the end of the problems.

Have you come up with anything on your timing cover oil leak. I just did my first oil change at 1,100 miles and noticed a small seepage at one of the bolts. Very minor, no dripping.
