26 Maverick Lariat Price

It seems with the employmee pricing now gone the best price I can find is $42,300 for $39,800, plus $200 doc, taxes and title. It's 5 hours away though. My dealers here either don't have them or won't come down but $1,500 hundred max, they won't match the price.

I understand that, 300 miles is worth saving almost 2K minus car rental and lunch.

~200 miles to get mine, though I did drive the vehicle i was trading in and back in the maverick, but of course it was a torrential downpour on the way home to the point where it was mostly a hands on 10 and 2 and silent drive home.

Glad you made it home safe. This is our 2nd Maverick, I am driving a 22 1st Edition Lariat Hybrid (giving to wife).
I am buying this one because of 4K towing, to tow a small Casita Camper of 2,500 pounds.

Go to Visor.vin and do a search. I've seen 2026 Lariats for less than $42,300 there. It is free and there is a link to the dealership website so you can usually see the window sticker.

We got ours 2026 Lariat Hybrid with 4K tow for under $40k. Need to find hungry dealer with lots of units on ground, maybe travel for deal, offer cash or (cleared finance loan from your bank/credit union), and it usually helps to purchase close to end of month.

Ours was a pre-ordered scheduled build with trim/color/options - wasnt even built yet (month later) when we made the deal.

Tip: there still are some invoice dealers out there that will show you their price (without any kick backs).

Never worked against us when buying a car.... IMO, not unsimilar than not getting the paint treatment, undercoating, added Ford insurance etc... With cash they view one as a serious buyer ready to purchase and can go ANYWHERE with their money willing to give them the best offer. No sales person likes money or a sale walking out the door. In past 30+yrs since doing it, have made the best deals. Just my $.02 of course.

Dealer always has body, service and a few willing to pay the Peter-covering-Paul types.

Kinda off topic but the topic has been addressed with the link to the vehicle above for what is appx 4k off MSRP.

I did get 4k off mine when I bought it BUT I work for the auto group I bought it from. By work.......I'm retired but I drive for Honda and Toyota stores when they need a car picked up or delivered. I did a 400 mile round trip yesterday to do a dealer trade for Honda. There is no ordering a car.

Ford dealers seem reluctant to do this. I thought about getting a black one and they said they would order as Ford dealers are reluctant to trade, especially Mavericks.

Kinda sucks IMO. Ends up My wife liked the light blue they had on the lot so it was all moot but I found this interesting.

I'm not trusting that sale price, my 2 cents is they've included all the available offers and rebates into that discount #, then add a $998 "processing" fee back on.

I passed, took the Tremor. After the Employee discount and $750 Customer loyalty for buying my third vehicle from this dealer
I had no extra out of pocket.

They took my 39,600 and handed me the keys to my badass 2026 Tremor with all the toys.
Including the wonderful B&O and the better sound package.
