If you’ve ever owned a Ford with a factory keypad, you already know how convenient it is and if you haven’t, it only takes about a day of using one to understand why so many owners refuse to go without it. Now you can add that same functionality to your 2022-2026 Ford Maverick in minutes with this our Wireless SecuriCode Keypad Upgrade. No wires to run, no dealer programming, and no complicated installation process. Just mount it, plug in the included programmer, and you’re done.

âś… Why Customers Love the SecuriCode Keypad

Once you start using it, you find excuses to use it all the time.
  • Leave your keys safely inside the truck while hiking, working out, swimming, etc.
  • Instantly unlock your truck with a personal 5-digit code
  • Lock the doors by pressing 7/8 + 9/0 together
  • Add a secondary custom code for family or shared access
  • Anti-scan protection temporarily disables the keypad after repeated failed attempts
  • No dealership visit required
It’s one of Ford’s most practical features, and now it’s available as a true plug-and-play upgrade.

đź›  Installation is About as Easy as it Gets (1/5 Difficulty)

This is easily one of the fastest OEM upgrades you can install on an F-150.

📍 Mount It Where You Want
One of the nice things about this setup is flexibility.

You can install the keypad:
  • On the factory-style door pillar location
  • Above the door handle
  • On another nearby flat surface
Since it communicates wirelessly, placement is much more forgiving than older hardwired systems.

âš  Important Things to Know

There are three different keypad generations depending on your truck’s key fob frequency, so selecting the correct version matters.
  • Gen 1: 314.95 MHz
  • Gen 2: 902.75 MHz
  • Gen 3: 434 MHz
We’ll help match the correct keypad to your truck, so everything works properly right out of the box.

Whether you’re constantly in and out of the truck for work or just tired of carrying keys everywhere, this upgrade adds a level of convenience you’ll use far more than expected.

Will this work if truck is in battery saver mode?

It's working as a fob.
Yes.

Never a post I've seen of battery saver being so severe that fob access was lost, though it may be possible in theory.

Extreme cases passenger sensor for keyless entry is disabled when fob is close enough, and that's a minor draw.
So it likely could get to that point.
In theory.

I'm glad ford is bring back the Original Built in Wired Keypad. You can get it on 2026 F150's now.👇🏻

I've also had Fords Wireless security keypad on my Fords since my 1991
I use mine a few times a month. Especially if I ride the ATV or go out to the lake and I don't want to lose or get my key fob wet. I put the fob, my wallet, my phone in the truck and lock it using the keypad.

I'm glad my 23 Maverick has one.

So the $98 extra is saving me a trip to the dealer?

Yeah, the math is a bit wonky on this but I can see it for somebody that values their time a bit different.

Infotainment's value proposition is more on their actual namesake OEM type infotainment swaps that most dealers would not touch.

Had one of these on every Ford Ive owned since my '93 SHO. Never used them, used the FOB instead. Glad my Mav doesnt have one, wouldnt use it anyways.
I have had them on several vehicles from my past, and loved it on each one. It’s one of the reasons I stick with Ford products.

Serious question for those who have had and seem to like this feature:

What is the appeal? Is it the ability to leave a key inside and unlock it using this keypad?
