Interesting. I tried using the OEM jack on my 2025 Lariat Hybrid, rear wheels, and the jack was all the way up, leaning forward and didn't get the tire off the ground.Got mine, tested it, works fine.

Very odd I do have a 10”x8” 3/4” piece of plywood back there incase I’m in soft stuff or on hot soft asphalt.Interesting. I tried using the OEM jack on my 2025 Lariat Hybrid, rear wheels, and the jack was all the way up, leaning forward and didn't get the tire off the ground.
This was on a hard, flat, concrete garage floor.Very odd I do have a 10”x8” 3/4” piece of plywood back there incase I’m in soft stuff or on hot soft asphalt.
It's not under the rear seat, it's behind the rear seat fold down back rest.So the jack and lug nut bar are under the rear passenger seat for 2022-2025s? Not sure why, but I've never gone looking for them. I figured I'd consult the manual when the time came.
It's good to know where they are ahead of time. I'll probably look when I get home tonight. It's bad enough getting a flat. The last thing you need is having to go looking for everything (and hoping it's there) when it's dark and you're in the middle of nowhere.
You have to be careful using a "fix a flat" spray inflater. The googy foam will clog your tire pressure sending unit, and that will cost you at least $50 to replace. My experience in the dealership world, at least high end vehicles, is if it has an inflator kit then it has no jack. If it can be inflated with fix a flat then you don't need the jack. Also, they assume most people nowadays want someone else to deal with the issue for them, like roadside assistance or AAA. Not ideal for some but let's not forget how lazy Americans have become![]()
I don't disagree at all! Puts more money in the dealers/tire shops pocket too. After blowing up my bicycle tire as a kid with fix a flat I haven't touched it sinceYou have to be careful using a "fix a flat" spray inflater. Whoa! there pardner! ....being 'elderly' does not translate into being 'lazy'?My experience in the dealership world, at least high end vehicles, is if it has an inflator kit then it has no jack. I should have said "with some exceptions" my apologiesWhoa! there pardner! ....being 'elderly' does not translate into being 'lazy'?![]()
At some point, it gets very hard to kneel down to change a tire, and takes great effort to get back up. I have no problem getting a tow company to change a tire (other than sometimes it takes hours for them to arriveWhoa! there pardner! ....being 'elderly' does not translate into being 'lazy'?![]()

That is a valid statement. I know my girlfriend wouldn't be changing her own tire either. She'd probably call meAt some point, it gets very hard to kneel down to change a tire, and takes great effort to get back up. Not really. That’s absolutely wild.
Ford is absurd.
If I weigh 220 would a one foot bar work, Just kidding good advice.Don't forget to keep a LONG breaker bar and 21mm socket in the truck also. Lug nuts are torqued to 146 ft/lbs ... I keep a 24" ratchet in the truck for that
