My factory Ford rubber floor mat set was perfect.
It even says Maverick. I’d not buy a set that said Michelin because I run different makes of tires.
Currently I’m happy with my
Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3‘s

I’ve seen the Weather tech’s, also perfection.

Copy Weather Tech’s, lots of Michelin only drivers out there.
Thank you for your input! We completely understand the importance of having high-quality, well-branded products that align with your preferences. Just like you, we take pride in offering products that stand out in both performance and appearance.

We’re glad to hear you’re happy with your Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3’s, and we’ll continue to work hard to bring the best in floor mat technology, while also listening to feedback from users like you. Your suggestions help us stay on track toward innovation!

Alright TreadAuto… I see what you’re doing...
Slide into the Maverick forum like it’s a Cars & Coffee meet and casually ask what we want… respect.

But let me answer this the only honest way a Maverick owner can:

If my coffee tips over on a Monday morning, I need a floor mat that handles it like it’s survived a CAT4 in Florida.

So here’s the real priority list:
  1. Fitment (non-negotiable)
If it doesn’t fit like factory, it’s already annoying. No one wants that one corner doing the wave every time you get in.
  2. Anti-slip
If the mat moves more than my weekend plans, it’s a problem.
  3. Durability
KIDS, sand, KIDS, groceries, KIDS, random Home Depot runs and did I mention KIDS? These trucks don’t live easy lives.
  4. Easy to clean
I want to hit it with a hose and be done in 30 seconds. No spa day for floor mats.
  5. Appearance
We don’t need runway fashion… just don’t make it look like a 2003 rental car.
Thanks for the honest (and entertaining:whew:) breakdown! We absolutely get it—Maverick owners know what they need when it comes to floor mats. 💯

Fitness after 6 months is what I look for. My Tuxmat lost fitness on the side walls after about a year. I would never buy products with BOLD advertising THEIR name on the product, like mud flaps or floor mats. I do keep my floor mats black and shiny with tire blackening spray.

Porsche Cayman has Weather Tech and are excellent, but I will be the first to say I think they are way, way overpriced...they have gone up to $230+, not for me anymore.

I will be looking for replacement mats for Maverick but looking for ONLY THE FRONT seats. Many sellers on Amazon only sell all 4 floor mats. My rear seats have been used once in 4 years.
You're absolutely right that it’s not very common for sellers to offer just front-only or rear-only floor mats, as most floor mat sets are sold as a full package (including both front and rear).
Could you share some examples or scenarios where you’ve needed only the front mats?
It’d be interesting to hear why you’ve decided to only focus on the front—there are certainly situations where that makes perfect sense! This may help us to improve on the product link design.

OP,
Something I think of when cleaning the front two mats.

If mine were a little less rigid, more flexible
I’d be able to get them out easier for cleaning
And reinstalling.

I’m in the mountains, not on pristine city streets, lots of dirt, Georgia clay and gravel roads. I’m in boots often, treads hold dirt and they deposit it in my truck.
Any tech known to make cleaning easier and quicker would be welcome.

Fitment (coverage and the ability to fit the anchor pegs) and the ease of removing and cleaning. I had some rubberized mats in my former vehicle that I could hose down and lay in the sun for a quick dry while I washed the truck.

3D maxpider. Best floor mats ever had. perfect fit, look good, stay looking good, and feel good on feet. I had weather tech in the past, the looked bad after awhile... they curled up. the 3d maxpider have not disappointed and so glad i got them for the maverick.

Fitment and appearance matter most initially, but durability will be the deciding factor in the end, for me.

You're right, a poll will make this a lot clearer and easier. But there's no details behind the poll data, we need to select one owner in the comment area in the end. But we hear your sugesstion and will consider it next time.
They 'd have to match tuxmat for coverage and price and look as good. My experience with weather tech was when foggies got in and catch a heel on an edge, they would bend an it was impossible to get them back to their proper shape without a heat gun, or finally just trimming them down.

As mentioned above, my rear seat, like most people, is so rarely used so it gets very little or any wear, but I find 4 years on the front tends to wear them out, get slick and sides get and out of shape, so I only want to replace the FRONT.....It is interesting when checking Ebay, there were a number of re-sellers only selling rears, where their customers did not need new REAR mats. In my case I would not pay the extra $50-70 to include the rear mats when I don't need them.

I'd say fitment followed by durability.

Your feedback is really helpful, and we’ll definitely take this into consideration as we plan future product options. Offering front-only sets could be a more practical and cost-effective choice for many customers.

Having used Weather Tech in 4 previous vehicles, I ordered a set for my Lariat.

Thanks for sharing this info! It's great to hear you’re giving the Michelin bed mat a try for your Lariat. Once you’ve had a chance to test it out, we'd love to hear how it compares and if it meets your expectations. Photos and feedback are always valuable for improving our products. Feel free to share your thoughts, and we’ll make sure to use them to refine future designs. Looking forward to hearing from you!
