Thinking of selling my 2025 xlt

Hello, we bought an xlt fwd with luxury package last October. It has about 4500 miles on it now, but the back seat is just to small for 2 labs and a 9 year old. Wondering what people thought it might be worth. carvana offered 28800 for it but I really think it is worth more. Thanks. Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this.

It doesn't matter what people think it's worth.
You need to determine market value, and your location, car color and options make a difference in sale price.

I'd suggest you take a look at the standard sites like KBB, NADA and Edmunds.

An accurate quote requires specifics you don't mention, but with assumptions, KBB private party sale says $27K - $29K, so the price Carvana quoted you seems to be about right.
At least their offer appears to be in the ballpark

Carmax is another we'll buy your car site and KBB also has a buy your car option.
Poke around to see if you can find a better offer.

I just ran my 25 XLT, Ruby Red, lux package, 4k towing, and blind spot package with 6700 miles with Carvana. Offer was 28k; a couple of weeks ago it was 27.5. Depends a bit on your Zip Code. Seems like you are the ballpark at least with Carvana. As mentioned above, check other sources.

I paid 30.5 back in July so I cannot really complain!!

If Carvana is giving you that, that is pretty much what it is worth.

Unfortunately the 25 FWD Hybrid isn't one that is going to command a premium.

You won't get anywhere near that in a stealer trade. List it online locally and see if you get any bites.

I’d figure 2-3,000 less than an AWD

$28-29,000 sounds about right.

$39,000 got my buddy a new 25 Ecoboost AWD Lariat with a BAP package and a sun roof.
As others have said a private sale should get you more, I’d think $32-33,000

Zip code matters.
Sunroof? Tonneau cover? CoPilot?
Only the OP knows for sure...
For a red '26 XLT FWD Hybrid w/Lux it looks like ~ $35K + tax MSRP..
Not much room between $29K and an actual sale price for a year newer vehicle.

Hopefully the OP locked in on that quote - Carvana usually honors them for 7 days.

I’d jump on that offer!

I’ve had Carvana offer me 20% less than a previous offer - same mileage/car but a week or so later. Luckily, I took a screen shot of their high offer & used that to negotiate

Take the carvana offer and run if you’re serious about selling, ford had some incentives throwing 2 grand on top of employee pricing, really undercut the market on 25s
