My point was intended to address the veracity of AI, not the "questionable" aerodynamic improvement in the recent facelift. Even without any data to support it, AI will use a stated opinion when it's unlikely there is a verified source to establish a fact.Think about it. Clearly that supposed aero improvement is a lie.
This thread has some twists and turns and recently been on an AI left turn from the original topic of the appeal (or not) of the front end facelift. Apparently you missed that turnoff.

As far as it being "clearly" a lie, I agree it's doubtful, or at least significant, but I've yet to see any proof either way, and I doubt that there is any, as even if there were a miniscule improvement, it would not be worth the cost of a wind tunnel test, especially for a mid cycle refresh.
It may even be worse. Without test results it's all conjecture.
That doesn't mean there is no difference, just that it "clearly" hasn't been proven either way, unless you have access to the Ford data for a test they likely didn't perform, but you, like everyone else likely doesn't. Or maybe someone does...
