The hell they did. I ordered my '24 XLT on Leap Day in 2024. I did not receive it until October 28th--it barely made the cutoff for the model year.Eh, supplier issues were pretty much sorted out for the 2024 model year and Ford started really pumping out Maverick's without delays for 2024.
I ordered mine with the hard tri-fold tonneau. I immediately got a message that they had exceeded their quota of those for April production. I thought my truck would be built in May.
When May got here, I checked every week, and found out that they were out of either the standard XLT wheels or tires or both pretty much all summer. For a week or two, they had those, but had no EcoBoost engines. My truck wasn't built until September 26th.
And somehow I got mine just before the stop sale order due to the rearview camera recall with no fix.
