It seems no one has a clue about marketing.
They/Them monitor your every move, every click, every dollar you spend.

Dont believe me ?
Dream up something you’ve never searched. Search it once, Delete the search.
Go on the net the next day. The adds they force on you will reflect this.

This bombardment is never ending.
A.I. owns you, knows all about you.

Cut a fart in the same room as your phone. You’ll get adds for laxatives the next time you surf.

Yep...I get them every few weeks on my trucks...boat....house...Razor scooters...Etc. You can't hit a home run if you don't swing the bat. They don't know you personally....but they are putting the "Option" out there just in case. I'm surprised you even asked this question in 2026. It's what the sales world is now. :like::like::like:

Simple: dealer makes more money selling a used Maverick than a new one.

What was the offer?

How much over what you paid would make you consider selling it?
Over? Lucky if the dealer offered $6k LESS than OTD originally paid:)

I bought a 2025 AWD Hybrid with a 4K towing package in July 2025. Since then, I have continually received emails from the dealership I bought from as well as my servicing dealer. My question is - why would they think I'd want to sell my vehicle within the first 6 months of ownership? Where is the economic advantage? Am I missing something. I keep my trucks for 10-12 years so forking out for a new truck in 6 months doesn't sound like a sound economic idea. Just the depreciation alone would seem a bad idea. Anyone do this on a regular basis?
I'm amazed that people still fall for this marketing ploy. This is a dealership tactic that is as old as time. They send out mass mailings telling everyone that their car or truck is highly desired and they see who will bite. They don't care about your truck, they just want to sell more cars and trucks.

I’d gladly sell my 2024 AWD Ecoboost Lariat for
$50,000.00
It’s only got 13,000 miles on the clock
:D

And no, I would not trade it for a brand new Hybrid.

I paid $36,000 for my 2024 AWD Eco Lariat.
I’m a very happy idiot.

Nothing else out there could come close to the bang for the buck I feel I got.

Every quarter, Ford sends all the dealership in your area a list of selected Ford owners for their "Private Offer" of $250 to $2,500 off a New Ford. As others have already said, some buy a new Ford every year. Some buy a new vehicle every 6 months for their business or company. I work at a Ford dealership and have seen 1st time Ford customers' names on this list that bought less than 3 months ago. Sometimes, it is worth it to check it out. Might get a lower interest rate and Ford may have more incentives that can be combined. You might even lower your monthly payment "IF" you have your vehicle financed and currently making payments.

As it is the work I do, Please take a minute to answer the call and politely ask to be removed from their contact list and blocked from all future calls if you are not interested. No need to be rude, just someone trying to make a living and that's their job to pay the bills and make ends meet. Believe me, I completely understand not wanting to be called about something random that you are not interested in. Just remember, they are a person like you and deserve to be treated how you expected to be treated.

My friendly local Ford Dealer let me “opt out” of more than a dozen email/phonecall/text/snailmail/etc
communications when I did my purchase contract. However, not all dealers do…or maybe one did not pay attn.

Here are some ways to opt out after your purchase per AI:

“- Contact the Ford Customer Relationship Center via live chat on ford.com or by calling 1-800-392-3673 to request removal from communication lists.
- Use the Communication Preferences tool on your Ford account (at ford.com/myaccount/email-preference) to manage email marketing opt-outs.
- Unsubscribe directly from marketing emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any promotional email received.
- For broader privacy choices (e.g., opting out of data sharing for advertising), adjust cookie preferences on ford.com or submit requests via their privacy portals.”

Agree this is just a marketing bot, but awhile back you could make $ selling a like new Maverick. After 14 month wait I picked up my '22 hybrid Lariat. 6 months later dropped by CarMax to see what they'd offer for the Maverick. Paid MSRP + fees for the new Maverick and CarMax gave me a $6K profit. Couldn't resist and took the offer. Now drive '25 Maverick hybrid Lariat Azure Grey AWD 4K tow, and not selling for long time

It’s’s a pitch to get you into the dealership … and sell you another truck that you will purchase with a Ford loan. It helps that Mavericks are very popular as well, so this is a way for them to restock. And the reason this comes at your first 6 months of ownership is that your monthly payments haven’t paid down much of your loan’s principle. If you sell it now, you’ll essentially have paid nothing other than interest.
