The dealer ordered and bought the truck from the factory. On your behalf. So they'll hold it for you to buy. At present, it's the dealer's truck.

You either buy it, or don't.

Why would they bribe you to not buy something from them? Either you buy it as agreed, or they sell it for more. They don't need to give you anything but a chance to buy it.
