it's 2025. Has a dash built since 1990 ever cracked from Sun damage? I haven't seen a cracked dash on a modern car in, like, ever. And I live in CA and HI (but I do use low luster Armor All when cleaning a couple times a year, so maybe I'm preventing the plastic from drying out to the point of cracking). I do not understand people putting carpet or other stuff on their modern car dash, other than they like it for aesthetics. Maybe some sound absorption? I think a lot of the interest for a dash cover is from us old people who had cars in the 60's and 70's and remember the dash cracking. These are likely the same people that think you need to change your oil every 3000 miles, and use K&N air filters. Stuck in time.

Caveat; the Maverick interior plastic is the cheapest quality stuff I have ever experienced. The dash get scratched just by leaving your sunglasses on it and dragging them a little when you grab them. I definitely can see putting something on there if you're of the type that "stores" piles of junk on your dashboard

As for this particular dash cover, I think it's a big upgrade from carpet. But I agree on the tackiness of the surface (as in "stickiness") regarding cleaning. An insert of a non-tacky material like fabric or Tolex (the stuff used on guitar amps) would be an upgrade for usability.
Thanks for your suggestion. That's a good point.

Liked the product but could not confirm it will fit earlier Mavericks like my 2023. Will it fit the earlier models?
It will only fit 25.

Hello,

Thanks for your interest and love for this product but for now we’re keeping it specific to the 2025.

If anything changes in the future, we’ll be sure to share an update.

Simple answer is yes.
Dashboards still crack.

You don't want to go to a Dodge ram form and ask that question.
When I owned my 2005 Dodge ram. I was very close to getting a solid replacement dash topper for it, cuz mine was cracked and very brittle.
Mine was produced during the daimler-benz Chrysler.
I only owned it for 6 months when, someone offered me a lot of money for it. I guess because it was a single cab short bed with a Hemi.

Just because you don't personally see crack dashes doesn't mean it isn't happening.

@MABETT - I received mine, however, whomever cut the cover out did an awful job, especially in the front where it is visible. I’ll have to return it.

Ugh, that's ugly. No excuse for that lack of QC.

Just unboxed my cover & I’m impressed so far. Unrolled without any wrinkles. High quality feel. Picked up a couple cat hairs - but my cats are not allowed on my dash:) Not allowed in the truck even - unless in a crate.

Anyway, I’m sitting out in my front courtyard on an unseasonably warm 79f afternoon smoking my pipe (Bayou Morning tobacco) - I’ll put in the Maverick a bit later….

That sucks.
I wonder if somebody bought that, who had a 22 to 24, thought they could make it fit. Hacked away at it and then returned it.
And no one bothered to inspect it.

Seriously considering this one. I'll be paying attention the next couple of days to how much glare I get from my dash. I'm not 100% sold on usability - my dash isn't a place that's likely to get scratched - but it does look like it'll match my black and blue aesthetic nicely.

Left side holds right side not so much.. so I’m sticking w my old ones.. this a no go for me.

Same experience here... bought it and installed it only to find it slides around when making turns and stops in everyday traffic. What a letdown- obviously no "real world" testing was done on this product:(.
