Supposedly it'll help prevent the dash from cracking or fading due to sun damage. Personally I'd rather just get the windshield tinted with clear ceramic film. Sun protection for the dash and for yourself!

Also reduces the interior cabin temperature. Since getting the windshield tinted, I park my truck in the Las Vegas desert in the summer time and don't need more than a cheap pop-open sun shade to keep the cabin temperature barely warmer than ambient.

I also think silicone would be the least convenient material for a dash cover. It'll attract dust and hair like a magnet and require washing or wiping down. I have a traditional Dash Designs dash cover and don't do much other than take it out and give it a shake every year or so.
You’re right—silicone does attract dust and hair more easily. However, traditional carpet or suede-style dash covers can really affect the interior look. And cleaning is very easy though—just rinse with water and towel dry. In the end, it comes down to personal preference.

I'm failing to see why it would not work for 22-24? The dashboard storage tray is identical in terms off outside dimensions is it not?
The main difference is in the area behind the screen.

I think I see the difference. The 2025 is flat behind the screen, 22-24 is raised at a steep angle. I think it still will work by snipping the small section behind the screen.
Why you no love the 22-24 owners, Mabett? We made you!

what "protection" does a dashboard need? I mean other than my stupid trophy fake-wife putting her feet on it from time to time....
After owning my new Lariat for over 3 weeks, today for the first time I experienced the glare I’ve heard folks talking about. I can see the value if that becomes a routine problem.

it's 2025. Has a dash built since 1990 ever cracked from Sun damage? I haven't seen a cracked dash on a modern car in, like, ever. And I live in CA and HI (but I do use low luster Armor All when cleaning a couple times a year, so maybe I'm preventing the plastic from drying out to the point of cracking). I do not understand people putting carpet or other stuff on their modern car dash, other than they like it for aesthetics. Maybe some sound absorption? I think a lot of the interest for a dash cover is from us old people who had cars in the 60's and 70's and remember the dash cracking. These are likely the same people that think you need to change your oil every 3000 miles, and use K&N air filters. Stuck in time.

Caveat; the Maverick interior plastic is the cheapest quality stuff I have ever experienced. The dash get scratched just by leaving your sunglasses on it and dragging them a little when you grab them. I definitely can see putting something on there if you're of the type that "stores" piles of junk on your dashboard

As for this particular dash cover, I think it's a big upgrade from carpet. But I agree on the tackiness of the surface (as in "stickiness") regarding cleaning. An insert of a non-tacky material like fabric or Tolex (the stuff used on guitar amps) would be an upgrade for usability.

Hey guys,

We’re excited to officially announce the release of our Silicone Dashboard Cover designed specifically for the 2025 Ford Maverick.

Enjoy 20% discount exclusive for MTC: https://www.amazon.com/promocode/A35WW7OSWMX277

What Makes This Dashboard Cover Different?

The answer is material. After extensive market research and material testing, we ultimately selected silicone as the optimal material to meet real-world Maverick owner needs.

This product was developed with a clear goal: to provide effective dashboard protection while preserving a clean, factory-style interior appearance.

Why We Chose Silicone?

🔹 Rolled Packaging – No Creases

Thanks to the silicone material, the dashboard cover can be shipped rolled instead of folded. This prevents permanent creases or wrinkles and allows the mat to lay flat immediately after installation.

🔹 Non-Slip Backing – No Adhesive Required

The underside features a non-slip surface that keeps the cover securely in place without the need for glue or tape. No residue, no marks, and no damage to the original dashboard.

🔹 Precision Fit for a Clean Look

The flexibility of silicone helps the cover sit flush against the dashboard, giving it a more precise fit and a refined overall look.

If you’re looking for a clean, non-invasive dashboard cover that fits well and maintains an OEM-style appearance, this is an ideal choice for your 2025 Maverick.

Care Tip: When cleaning, rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid using paper towels.

Liked the product but could not confirm it will fit earlier Mavericks like my 2023. Will it fit the earlier models?
