What to store in the bed cubby?

Does anyone have the dimensions of the passenger side storage cubby in the truck bed? Thinking of storing a Bluetooth speaker or some other plug-in-able tool/device since I'll have an outlet back there!

Thank you, but I'm looking for the measurements for the storage bin in the bed of the truck, not the dash. The one with the removable floor, next to the tailgate.

Ah, sorry, I can't help you there, as I'm still waiting for our truck. The modules have populated, but still no "Built" notification.

I have a few tools in there, a tire pressure gauge, and a spare stick of deodorant for the days I forget to get that done before leaving the house

I also keep my ratchet straps and bungie cords in the false floor space.

I'd worry about keeping anything of value in there, but I keep a small brush (no tonneau yet, gotta sweep up still) in the bottom and a bag of ropes for tying stuff down in the top.

I keep a folded up 4x4 tarp, a couple bungee cords, and two ratchet straps. Enough to basically secure something in my bed or cover it from the elements. Collectively everything in there is worth maybe $40 so if someone steals it then whatever.

I keep 4 bungees in there right now and that's it. Just about holds those. You could probably fit a small Bluetooth speaker like a JBL and even more room if you take out the hidden floor.

I was storing ratchet straps In there, they got wet and all stiff and nasty.
They couldn’t dry out.
I got new tie down straps, they are under my back seat and dry.
The cubby is no longer used, useless to me.

Does it drain at all? (I put a first aid kit still in its outer wrapping in mine earlier today, but I was highly dubious about just how bad the watertightness is).

Yes mine drains but it’s 99% condensation and can’t be locked.

I think I had to drill out the plastic hole just a tad bigger.
Then again - I bought another set before this that would have required a couple of mods - maybe it was that one which would have required drilling.
2 locking cubbies now though, using the off-set plate.

At's great but I don't have the time to build it. I want it dropped at my door, I swap it in ten seconds and go back in the house where It's warm :'P

Who sells a locking metal or plastic door I can hang right in there with no mods ?
