Since my Maverick AWD Hybrid did not come with any emblems or decals, I got these from Amazon.com - Now the California Highway Patrol just wave me through the snowy roads, even under R2 conditions. Saves time and aggravation.

I was wondering why you'd bother until I read the explain, yup, seems to yell it loud enough for Jon and Ponch to read without moving their lips.

We tend to have more binary solutions here, road open, road closed, go the more difficult sideroads instead, thanks ociffer.

Colorado just implemented new rules and I also got AWD badges for my Maverick. I have been pushing through 6 inches of fresh powder without any problems. AWD and Blizack snow tires let we stop and go with ease.

Then don't.
Why comment on something that doesn't interest you and wasn't asking for others thoughts or input?
Opinions are like....

this is counter to my principles of removing all unpaid advertising by Ford. What they put on there; stickers, trim, grill/tailgate logos, and the horribly hard to get rid of tailgate stamping is bad enough, why would I want to add MORE?! :teehee:
Uh, "AWD" isn't Ford branding.

If that’s the case wouldn’t people with fwd cars put a awd badge on them to get through the snowy checkpoints?
Don't think it isn't being done.
Especially, if you have snow tires on all four and keep rolling.

yes. I actually thought about it while re-writing my reply, and thought I deleted the whole thing, original and re-write, but didn't.

I can see where the AWD info would be useful in draconian places like CA and CO where they only let you through without chains if you have 4WD/AWD. I've lived in both States.

Deleting OG post before I trigger more people...

According to your profile, you have a 1st Edition Hybrid. Did not know they offered AWD on a Hybrid back in 2022,,,,,,,
