And I think it's because I'm addicted to this forum. I fear I'm about to become victim to every ailment that so many people have fallen victim to. I think I have CV joint issues. But then I don't. I think I have Battery State of Charge issues. But then I don't. I think I have high rev issues. But then I don't. I think I hear all kinds of rattles and thunking and then I don't. I think I might have flickering LED issues, and then I don't. The truth is, there is absolutely nothing wrong with my Maverick. My Therapist (Mechanic) tells me it's all in my head. Do something that will occupy your time to take your mind off these anxieties. So I did, and that brings me to my next two obsessions. Taking advice from all of the great people on this forum and making modifications to my Mav, and just when I think there is nothing left to do to improve this little truck, somebody posts an "I just have to try that, or buy that post." So I have to admit, I'm also a Mavafasionista. When will this end? Thanks MTC.

Sounds like you might be on your way to being a charter member of Mavroholics Anonymous!

Mine goes clickety clickety clack nirrrr, nurrrr, wheeee, clunk...hrrrrrrr, and either whupwhupwhupwhup or GRRRRRRR, depending which motor runs, but yeah, sure that's normal startup noises.

But if you were really paranoid, you'd be feeling the carpets, checking under the bed cover, putting cardboard down every time you park to see if was leaking in, out, or elsewise.

I don't know about anyone else's Mav, but I know those seemingly random clicks are NOT random. When I go into the garage long after my Mav has been tucked in for the night - and with no key fob in my pocket I might add - and my Mav starts clicking and clacking, well, I KNOW it's talking to me!

I don't know about the other noises and symptoms, but when the hybrid motor in my '25 Lariat does its magical click, tick, click, I know that it's expressing solidarity with my body, which, at age 73, does the same thing. It's a very comforting confirmation that such a beautiful and faithful machine has bonded with me. Relax, friend, and embrace your doppelganger.

Mine does the same thing, trying to tell me it wants to be let out of the garage!

And then sometimes it's just fun to fasten my seatbelt before starting, then putting in gear and driving away in silence...

Just curious, looking at the truck TPMS, or hand held gauge? My TPMS reads about 2 psi lower than from a certified gauge I have. They are consistent though and do not change. Also, if they drop to 32, do they continue dropping less after that? Kind of a strange issue actually, once the outside temp stabilizes. Are you filling tires in a garage where temps are somewhat warmer and then checking them outside in colder temps?

Rumour has it on Xmas Eve only, your Maverick will actually speak in the language you selected in the Sync4 system. Mostly to talk about what more options it wants....

I'm hoping mine tells me she must have the Mabett Fender Flares.

I'm fairly certain mine has been asking for a hard tonneau cover but I keep trying to talk to it about "wants" vs "needs". It doesn't seem to care about such concepts!

My 25MY "MAY" sometimes get option envy. I'm sure it occasionally wishes it was a Lariat AWD Hybrid. But guess what...too late now! It is the sum of it's parts.

Are you sure you don't have a hybrid ?
