Coincidentally right before reading this thread, I received an email that my first Social Security check comes February 25th! Approaching 63 and I still don’t take a single medication and all my parts are original. Hopefully I can hold on like this for another decade. My only problem is my addiction to buying new cars. I have my Maverick less than six months and I’ve already built a 2026 Ranger 20 times online. That’s how it starts.

I'm 69. Had a Silverado for years. I was a Project Manager for a large general contractor, so I showed up on jobsites a lot. Didn't really haul anything that I needed a p/u for, but that's what contractors drove. After I retired, started looking around. Didn't want a big truck again. Thought about a Ranger, but no one seemed to have what I wanted. Dealer had one used Maverick (this was in mid 2023. Too many miles. Ended up at CarMax. 2023 Lariat, ECO, 4k tow, hard bed cover. Basically it got repo'd. 3 k miles. Since then, I've driven it about 33k miles with no issues.

I'm 69 - this '24 XLT hybrid w/lux, hot pepper little red truck just followed me home one day from a used car lot.
. I asked my wife if I could keep it and she said yes! Looks respectable when cleaned up.
