35,400 in stock as of Oct 31st. I am trying to find this figure for Oct, 24 but have not yet found it. I would bet the ranch that this figure is considerably higher than in 24. Unless color, wanting an Eco Boost without AWD, or worrying about depreciation drives some people to order the 26 MY, it seems to me that most buyers in the next two or three months will go with the 25. Nevertheless, there should be some very good deals on end of the year 25 MY sales. Guessing Ford will put a factory discount on them.

I guess they worked out their supplier issues. Production of my '24 was delayed for months because of a lack of XLT wheels and/or tires. It was ridiculous.

Great sale #’s but Inventory at some dealers around me is standing still including xl awd hybrids . Should be a fire sale as soon as 26s hit the lot.

Interesting that I only see about 17,000 currently available nationwide and those could be orders in transit and not yet purchased

Ford is killing Maverick sales right now. On pace easily for 150k+. That is incredible.

Does this mean we can no longer refer to hybrid Mavericks as "Unicorns"?

Ford keeps proving me wrong. I keep predicting that they're going to saturate the market at some point, but I guess Maverick is just totally invested in making me look dumb. I think I've been predicting the sales demise of Maverick for like three years now.

I really thought the fairly substantial price increases in the last two years would put a dent in Maverick sales but I was also wrong. Although looking at it another way, it's still the cheapest pickup truck available by far.

It will definitely get interesting for the Maverick when an actual competitor arrives. Don't know if that will be from Toyota, GM or even another brand but I imagine we'll see some kind of direct competitor by 2030 which really isn't that far away.

Yes we have the Santa Cruz, and yes it's a nice trucklet with a really nice interior, but the powertrain options and price of the Hyundai are not very competitive to the Maverick's offerings. Although the Maverick price across all trim levels has gotten very close to the Santa Cruz. The price difference is shrinking.

Oh No! You said the evil words Santa Cruz. Unleash the fanboy hounds! I came within days of buying a Santa Cruz. Loved it. I think a new one is a year out. A big hint is this year's huge redesign of the Tucson, from which the SC was derived.

I agree with you, the Santa Cruz is a really nice vehicle, I don't understand why it gets to much hate. I think a lot of it is what you said, lame fanboys. When both the Maverick & Santa Cruz were released in late 2021 I was considering both but ultimately ended up with a Maverick, mostly because of the Hybrid option. The Santa Cruz has a much nicer interior by far. However the Maverick was also considerably less expensive than the Santa Cruz for the first few model years.

Friends.
Don't let friends drive kia /hyundai
They make great cars. One of the most reliable cars I ever owned was a 2010 Hyundai Sonata. I have an uncle who's a Hyundai fanboy, it's all him & wife have been buying for over 20 years. They usually buy them certified used and drive them for 10-15 years.
