Interesting; I still have the old version of the app but my tire pressure reading dropped 4psi per tire
Maybe it just got cold outside 😅. But seriously, we have wide temperature swings. My tire pressure readings may be three or four degrees different in the morning parked on the grass at 55° versus being parked on the asphalt in the afternoon when it is close to 90° outside. I live in Tallahassee Florida and work just 20 miles over the Georgia line. In the fall we have wide temperature swings. And so on the first cool days, we will have a few customers coming to the shop worried about the little yellow symbol. And nothing is wrong other than their tire pressure is low. They will ask if they have a leak because it was fine a couple of weeks ago. But a couple of weeks ago it was 75° in the morning. Now it's 50.

Are you on an Android or an Apple device?
I would guess he's on Apple play as if you go to Android store it still shows the old version with a last updated date of September 8th. I'm assuming it'll hit Google Play eventually. Not a big deal. Last time they did an update like this I read about it on here and it was 4-5 days later mine updated to the current one. I figure same will happen this time.

i have never used the Ford App while driving, so mine has always shown me Parked. Why does the Maverick Ford Pass App even have Next Departure?? its not like we can plug in our HV battery anywhere.
"Next Departure" is likely means Scheduled Start

Update to the Ford App.

What is incredibly stupid about this app, it, it doesn't tell you whether the car is locked or not.
It knows where it is (so do I). And NO, I am not going to tell it to lock it just to be sure.
If it can report the color of my underwear, is sure as heck should have an indication of the locked/unlocked status upon the interrogation!

Interesting, I'm still at v5.28 on my Pixel 8 Pro and that's the latest available on the Play Store. Even though they are calling it the 'Ford' app there, my phone still lists it as 'Ford Pass'. When I tap to open the Ford app it pulls up Ford Pass on my phone. Not that I care much, guess v6.0 will arrive at some point.
Same here.

The update looks a bit nicer, but is poorly designed. Why did they push all the actionable stuff way down and behind the new floating menu? You have to scroll up to lock and unlock. There is so much wasted real estate on the top.

That might be a function of your screen size. They are not covered up on mine:
Ford Maverick FordPass App is now the “Ford App” (new version 6.0) IMG_1395

You must be on a Max. I’m using a year-old iPhone Pro with the standard resolution. It’s the most common iPhone size, so any developer should test it on. Regardless, the top half of the screen is useless information.

Oh, I'm not doubting the wasted space. Common problem amongst apps even from the likes of Microsoft. Seems they offshored their UX teams to people who have no idea how to do it.
