Seat belt warning turned civilized???

to be clear, it showed the other seats as empty, and the occupied seats as buckled, but still hung around.

I was actually toying with filing a regulatory complaint that it was interfering with access to the safety features and directing driver attention from the road . . .

I have to reach over and latch her seat belt for it to go out.

the obvious solution is for her to climb out the window to save you this hassle!

Tried searching Amazon and ebay - and the inaccuracy on descriptions just concerned me enough not to waste my time.

The seat belt buckle clips are intentionally advertised as "bottle openers" or otherwise innocuous things for liability reasons.

Ah - I was going for seat belt extenders, that way the frequent back seat passengers could still use what is there, but left in place I'm not dealing with hassle of putting things back to make it work.

So I guess with the above little things, the measurements not as important as long as it can fit in the slot, doesn't matter if it clicks or not?
May do that for the middle unused seat belt position.

They click in properly, I have every belt buckle except the driver clipped in with them so the nag screen disappears right away when I buckle in. I just throw them in the center console on the odd occasion I have passenger(s).

I think you've got it.

When I went out again, I checked, and the three back belts are buckled from a camping trip a couple of weeks ago--I'd piled stuff back there, and so buckled the belts first.

the front passenger seat being empty doesn't cause the behavior.

hm, if I was ambitious, I'd go out and unbuckle a back seat, but . . .

I LOVE that Forscan helps me not be nagged about things I already know I should do.

Now if there were only something similar that would do the same with my wife's "concern" over the empty garbage can that hasn't been brought in by the time she gets home...

i'm not sure why there isn't already an option to default to automatically reuse your last mode built into the settings.

I Couldn't stand the obnoxious Seatbelt spam and beeping, and door ajar beeping, horn honking when exiting vehicle, and other chimes when entering the vehicle, or pressing the ignition.
Please just SHUT UP and stop with the nanny nagging! (yes, I've disabled almost every tone, beep, and honk possible at this point.)

I did the same thing with Forscan. Believe I've turned off every annoying sound. I'm 78 & don't need reminders to buckle my seat belt. Also changed many other things with Forscan, including headlight selection now on last selected. Kudos to the Forscan creators.

Just buckling the belts will not make mine go away. Just one green check or all five green checks, it does not matter. The screen will not go away until I acknowledge it or I drive far enough. I wish it would go away immediately, on its own, once all lights were green. When dropping my wife at the airport. At curbside my wife gets out of the truck, I get out of the truck to get her bag and say goodbye. Because we're at an airport, I do not turn the truck off. I get back in the truck put my seatbelt on. Put the truck in gear drive away. The passenger side seat belt warning light continues to flash. I have to reach over and latch her seat belt for it to go out.

I have a similar problem when someone gets into the back seat and they accidentally try to buckle to the middle seat buckle. I will not buckle all the way but it will allow it to go in enough to turn the rear middle seat belt light green. After a bit of a struggle, they figure it out and plug in to the right buckle. The problem is, now the truck thinks there's an unbuckled person in the middle seat. No amount of [OK] spamming will make that red seat belt light go away. I discovered that quickly opening and closing the driver's door will, though

oh the driver door! I was making the person back there open close a back door, which fixes it too.

What you're saying is, if you make all 5 green, the screen goes away on its own? I wonder if this works for 2025 Tremor? I have to try it

The screen doesn't come up at all anymore as long as I buckle the drivers belt before turning on the truck.

Only need the back ones green - because those are the ones without a weight sensor to know if someone really there.
It's a safety reminder.
Passenger they know about (or wrong about as we've seen with a heavy package).

If I start before I'm done buckling up, moment I click that screen goes away, same with passenger - the 3 back seats already green.
If I start after I'm clicked - it may flash and go (not sure), but the Ready To Drive is there waiting.

ETA: I might have to test having the passenger clicked in when no one there.
Now that should throw an error!
