Poorly written Maverick Manual

Is it just me, or is this vehicle manual about the crappiest one Ford could have put together???
I recently bought a Maverick XLT AWD from my father and I'm going through the manual looking for all the features & controls to know what this truck is capable of; especially the proximity sensors and alerts. My dad's memory is failing and he doesn't remember what all his truck was equipped with.
This has got to be the WORST vehicle manual I have ever seen. The paper is so thin and the pictures are so dark, it's sometimes impossible to tell what they are trying to show me. I'm probably going to look for an aftermarket book to get a better feel for the truck. I believe I have the 4k towing towing package, but can't find any place in my vehicle or documentation to verify that. I welcome anyone's help with that.

If it’s equipped with 4k towing you will have a 7 pin and a 4 pin wiring connection points by the trailer hitch receiver and a brake controller bottom left dash underneath headlight controls

If you remove all the warnings/cautions/nanny statements, it is only about 5 pages long, I think. I mean, who would attach jumper cables from the battery to their lips? But at least they warned you that that may void your battery warranty.

I agree the pages in a manual nowadays are like tissue paper.
What I ended up doing was, downloading the manual to my phone. If I had a PC or laptop, I would downloaded it there.
For me it's easy to use my phone to search whatever I need in the manual.
I leave the printed copy in the the truck.
Owners of the 2025 and later will not have a printed manual. It will only be contained within the infotainment system of the truck or you can download it from Ford.
A lot of times it's easier to just type in the problem to Google and it will even quote Maverick truck club members in the answer or easy to follow videos .
Example I typed in: Replace cabin air filter 2022 Ford Maverick.

These were the suggestions I received

Some members who have 2025's have resorted to PRINTING All 500+ Pages. But then they get frustrated because Ford has UPDATED EDITIONS of the manual.

If you remove all the warnings/cautions/nanny statements, it is only about 5 pages long, I think. I mean, who would attach jumper cables from the battery to their lips? But at least they warned you that that may void your battery warranty.

And Yes, I couldn't believe how dumb & unnecessary some of their 'Warnings' were. Wasted space & time looking thru them.

The organization of the manual is terrible. I was trying to find the fuel tank capacity, and had to look at two places to find it. They easily could have included it in the first place (related to what kind of fuel to use, I think), but didn't. Owner's manuals used to have a simple table that provided all capacities and things like fuse types and bulb types all in one place.

It seems to be set up to be viewed as a .pdf and to be searched, but it's even a pain to do that.

It's also very difficult to figure out what from it applies to your vehicle (so many "if equipped" comments).

The warnings are no doubt federally required.

While it does have Capacities & Specs (which includes fuel), that and the fuses and the bulbs all used to be at the end in those tables for easy thumb finding.

And while it has an early Visual Search that shows the truck, and then you can jump to very few specific sections based on what's seen - it's way too brief and not at all the needed bits.
Right there - point out what may be optional so you know. Oh, I don't have that button for trailer assist, ok I don't have 4k tow package.
