MAF sensor clip on the warm air intake. I was trying to push down, push in, wiggle. Has anyone unclipped this one before? I do have a 25 EB but hoping its the same connector for the other years. Any help would be appreciated!

First with your thumbnail or a screwdriver gently slide the locking tab back then you should be able to push where you see my finger is on the black piece and then pull the plug out. Quite a few plugs on my hybrid Maverick have the same type of locking mechanism.
Below is a video granted it's an older F-150 but the plugs haven't changed they're still the same and they operate the same.

Focus more on releasing the lock tab, then it should slide right out.

looks like there was electrical tape on it. I'm pushing down in the center as hard as I can and it doesn't seem to want to release right where that middle tab is

Somehow missed your reply! I dont see a locking tab for this one. But your last pic looks exactly like the one im dealing with. but if you notice in my post just before this there's a white glob where I think they added a glue or something. Ive scrapped it off and still having trouble unlocking it.

Thank you,
I'm just trying to rule out what a previous owner may have done.
Hmmm

invited my neighbor over and had one push down the clip from the top using extra extra long tweezers and the other under to wiggle it out. a struggle she was.

this is definitely an anti-tamper marking. you never mentioned- why are you unplugging it?

ford marks this with anti-tamper for two main reasons.

1. in case you have an aftermarket intake and it causes issues, but then you reinstall stock and take it in to be repaired under a warranty claim.

2. in case you're using an intercepting piggyback such as JB4, Panda Power Module, or Race Chip.

It's a ford. Just wait until it's about 15 years old, and the interlocks will crumble with a medium-hard stare.
