No, they kept raising my premium causing me to shop. I bought from another company and at renewal they raised their price as well. I again shopped again and actually found a lower premium then either of them with the same coverage. I even switched my side by side that I had for 7 years because it was half the premium. After this I have no brand loyalty with insurance companies.
Right; you have longevity with insurance companies. If you had a different company after every policy period, you offers would be different. We’re agreeing on the same thing.

No I don't think so. If we were saying the same thing I would still be with Hartford and paying $$$$ through the nose. I'm saying if they want my business they better keep the premiums competitive. Otherwise I'm going to the best deal for the same coverage. I think we can agree to disagree. What ever works for you. Me I've worked to hard for my money to pad someone else's pocket. Good luck with your endeavors.

Again, I agree with you. I’m not saying you should have stayed with Hartford. I am saying is your longevity at Hartford impacted the premium amount for the better when you switched companies. Your current provided is hopefully offering you a more competitive rate due to your history of staying with a company long term. I am right and you are also right

Hmmm, monthly for the remainder of policy after switch to Maverick (they kept same policy for benefits) about 50.10 (Rav4 on new one kept the $31).
New 6 month renewal now monthly 55.65.
11% increase after 3.75 months.
State Farm.
Clean record.

Let's not talk next year when the boy now 16 is driving and they count him on his own.
Oh yeah - he's paying for his, but I still wonder...
Well - here's next year.

Maverick - me the only driver.

Renewal paperwork shared this:
"The claim experience on your make and model of vehicle has resulted in a reduction to your vehicle rating group for comprehensive coverage"

Yaaaa!!!!

Uh oh.
"The claim experience ... has resulted in an increase ... for collision coverage"
"The claim ... in an increase ... for bodily injury, property damage, and PIP coverage"
"Your vehicle safety discount has been reduced for ..." the above items.

Went up $35 for 6 months.

Still don't want to talk about 17 yr old son being added, haven't seen the figures yet, don't think I want to.

18 y/o son - went through that 2 years ago now. you will want to get quotes from multiple providers but when I did it, State Farm was the cheapest by a lot.

still, it's very expensive adding a teen.

With State Farm, they have steer clear with helps a lot with rate. I always encourage customers to utilize that discount if their young driver has no tickets or accidents. Every renewal crash reports get run on the particular type of vehicle you have insured. If in those 6 months they had a lot of total losses or large claims it will affect the rate. They look at so much information now when figuring rates and each company will use different formulas, scrutinize different factors when obtaining a rate and price accordingly.
