2025 Maverick XLT First Recall 😢

I just received a recall notice from Ford about passenger airbag disabled indicator (PADI).
Has anyone received any recalls for their MY25?
Build date was Feb 13, 2025.
I was hoping to avoid recalls all together after waiting for three years of production...

Really? I didn't find one TBH hence the post. I did see that they stopped sale for a while but I didn't know why.

Come with buying a new vehicle. They all have recalls. Some just a bit more than others...

I got the same recall notice!!

I will not bring mine in for that recall, my airbag light is in place and works fine, do not want some 20 y. o. something new tech or whoever for that matter tearing apart my dash for something not needed and then deal with a worse issue or damage to it put back in place.

I also got the same recall notice. When I take it in for its first service I will let them do (or not) the PADI fix.
It may be a while since I have owned this one 4 months and just hit 500 miles on the clock.

The dealer sent a van to my house to do this recall. It took about 2 minutes to install a clip on the light behind the panel on the center console.

I received my recall on my 25 Lariat last week. Called my dealership but was put into voicemaill. Didn't get a callback so I drove to the dealership and had it done while I waited in less than 30 minutes.

Many many threads on this subject. Ford even had a stop sale order for awhile on Mavericks. The 2025 dash was redesigned. After I saw it in person I went with a 2024 because I guessed there would be issues. Good luck.

I actually prefer the 2025 updated Maverick for a number of reasons. Mine was built a couple of weeks ago so hopefully any "fixes" were already done while it was being built.
