The new Ranger is way too big for me compared to the Maverick.

Still a great looking truck though.

I've had my new 24 ranger for two months now and my 22 maverick for 2 1/2 years.

Surprised at the size difference between them. Maverick is back to the mini truck days in comparison. I used to have a Tahoe and Suburban sized SUVs as far as what I was familiar with.

Wish I had gotten a side by side pic of my Maverick and 1998 ranger together, but the ranger died 3 days before the maverick came in.

I parked my 1997 ranger extended cab next to a Maverick in my neighborhood, and they were almost the exact same size bumper to bumper. The Maverick just has the shorter bed since it is a full double cab

We need a black F-150 in there for more comparison!

Having owned two previous Rangers, I looked at the new one and rejected it. Its waay too big to do the job properly. The Mav is almost identical in size to my old 87 Ranger 4-door and only slightly smaller than the original F150. The new Ranger is almost the same size as the monster F150, getting the same poor mileage with all that excess weight. The Mav does everything that I need it for with its improved box functionality and has much better ride and handling than the current Ranger. Its time for Ford to just drop the current Ranger and downsize the F150 to its original dimensions.

I don't have a black f150 but my 04 gray f150 had engine problems, still needing to tow 5500lbs I purchased my Ranger in April. The 04 f150 and the 24Ranger are almost the same size.

I love my maverick and still drive it and think it's a wonderful truck but it can't tow 7,500 lbs
