I just put these in my 2025 Lariat Hybrid and anyone who said they got the air bags into the springs with ease is lying to you.

Not lying. They went in easy.

Now getting them compressed properly, so they would go in easily probably took me a half-hour 😀

I didn't think it was too hard, had the truck jacked up to expand the coils. I remember thinking I probably wouldn't get them out though.

@Dean S and @TimeOutside we had the truck up on the hoist. The whole install took 3 hours and two of them were trying to get the last lip of the bags in the springs ha ha (with a 15 minute break for lunch).

Do you recall what size bags (or model) you got and what diameter your springs were?

I just got the Air Lift 1000 for the Ford Maverick. I didn’t measure the springs because the kit is specific to the Mav.
I'll need to double check for the 2025s, but I know for the '22-'24 they had two different sizes of springs between the EcoBoosts and Hybrids. Airlift 1000 only offered one kit for the Maverick - sized for the EcoBoost - which is shorter and wider (I think?). It makes it really difficult to install for the hybrids. I ended up using the universal kit sized for the hybrid springs, which is why it was a lot easier to install.

Fair enough. We got them in there but it wasn’t easy ha ha.

I got the 60862 kit and they worked out fine on my 22 hybrid lariat. I added a gauge to monitor both bags and the spare tire. I had to order the Air-Lift replacement air line kit (#22030) accessories bag of parts to complete my install. That bag included the adapters for the air gauge and the spare tire.
The schrader valves for the bags are mounted on the rear bumper.

Does help with towing, we had an issue with a connection at the top of the right bag but once that was fixed I put the "T" in and use a single Schrader valve instead of trying to tune the suspension.

Wow, do you have an actual spare on your hybrid? My 2023 has no spare, only Fix-a-Flat.

Really? Considering that the mini spare tire was standard equipment for MY2023, somebody (your dealer?) ripped you off.

I think he means mini spare tire when he says it's a fix-a-flat. The photo he quoted shows a full-sized tire... which is quite nice.

Things are getting mixed up here

This thread was originally for the FWD hybrid airbag kit. People posting about their 2025 Lariat hybrid install are in the wrong thread - all 2025 Lariats are AWD, they have a completely different rear suspension and need the appropriate kit for AWD, *not* FWD (IIRC it's the same as the 22-24 AWDs)
