Just so everyone is aware, this product was not created by Panda Motorworks. Sam over at OEMUpgrades created this after spending years working on Mustang and F150 radio upgrades. Panda and a few others are just third party sellers. You likely won’t find the answers you’re looking for from this thread.

You are much more likely to have your questions answered by reaching out to his company directly: oemplusupgrades.com

Not quite a "just a reseller". We work with Sam on these. We have been offering these kits on the Focus and Fiestas for years, as well as digital dash conversion kits on newer model Fords like the Bronco. This is nothing new to us and we have the full capability to answer questions and offer support. We have a full install video coming as well. If you dont find the answers you are looking for on here, feel free to contact [email protected] and you will get a faster more personalized response!

So many unanswered questions... and Panda seems to have gone silent... way too many unknowns to risk spending $1,000+.
Sorry, out of town for a rally race this week. I will try to get your guy's questions answered as I can!

Really? I've seen threads on this forum of people doing it themselves.

What is the cost if you DIY? Assuming you know how? The Sync 4 APIM and 12" screen looks to be around $500 alone. I'm not even sure the correct parts you need, just did a casual search on eBay.

Guessing after buying all the bits and pieces you're looking at $700 or so for everything, then reprogramming the module (if you know how) etc.

Also don't they include the bracket, so it looks (almost) OEM? If You DIY you won't get that either.

I wouldn't pay it personally, but I'd bet there are people who will.

Fine, but did you find out what trim level you have??? It’s gonna come in handy around here, and I’m sure I’m not the only one dying to know... 😀
So should I post the vin?

I really want to do this upgrade. Just worried about being the first. Member pricing available?

Honestly, the 12" screen looks too massive. Might be interested if there was a version that eliminated the cubby next to the 8"

About a 3 week lead time on these kits currently.
Yes, wireless CarPlay!
Install is not difficult at all, as it includes a plug n play harness as well as a mounting bracket. Anyone can do it! We will have an install video here pretty soon.
I would love to hear about the install video when it gets in. At this point I'm just trying to decide whether I want the 8-in or the 12-in. Thanks

Your team at Panda did an amazing job with these units! I'm definitely interested in the 12 inch unit. If the unit looks like it came from the factory (OEM) after the completed installation, I'm buying it!

I look forward to checking out the install video. I appreciate that you guys took the time and effort to make these products available.

I would like to see different angles with the "12 screen. I wonder how much it really sticks up over the top storage.

Ford Maverick Maverick Infotainment Upgrade Kits (Sync 3 to Sync 4 Conversion) Available at Panda Motorworks! 20250108_173234

My DIY cost was about 700$. You really do need a decent amount of electrical knowledge just to build the harness. I would not recommend attempting this if you don't have a background in doing this type of work.
The upgrade is amazing if you drive alot. Worth every penny. Honestly I would pay the money for the kit if you don't have the capacity to DIY.

Looks good! You did an amazing job. If possible, could you you take a picture of the rear/back of the unit? I want to see if it looks OEM or aftermarket.

Thank you!
