Stop sale on Mavericks

I signed the contract but not able to receive the car because of the stop sale this weekend on the 2025 models.
For anyone else who was trying to purchase a car, have you received any notification from the dealership when would they be able to get Delivery. Thanks.

Unfortunately, this is an "advanced notice" recall. So Ford hasn't published a repair procedure.
The timing estimates a repair published in 3Q this year, but who knows! It could be June. It could be December!

(It seems to be a very minor issue....so hopefully it will be addressed quickly!)

Bought my 2025 XLT off the lot May 24. it was an April build a day after the stop sales was issued. There was no mention of a stop sale but why would they if they wanted the sale. They did seem to want to get it done that day but that isn't unusual. Only found out later there was a stop sale. So far it's exceeded my expectations.

Checked the vin. There is no recall on my XLT.

I received the same (via email) yesterday. Same date, same model, if it's at all relevant. Ordered last week on 5/20.

I did a inventory search for a 50 mile radius on the Ford site. Over 100 Mavericks available, 2024 & 2025, and only 2024 models and xl 2025's were shown as available. When I clicked on a 2025 xlt, Larait, Tremor the dealer site would say in stock but not available at this time. Seems excessive for just an indicator light being loose.

I checked the vins for all of the 2025s standing on the lot at my dealership and some other locals in southern CA and even up to San Diego and they were on the recall list.

After my purchase got stopped (on the very same day as the stop sale, grrr), my dealer put me in for a new construction order-- he said I'd likely get a new truck faster that way than waiting around for Ford to figure out a recall fix on the truck sitting on the lot.

Like those here, I too got the Ford text yesterday announcing production the week of 23 June.

No, more than that. My XLT was built 2/25 and it's in the recall.

Thoughts on this... I have a refundable deposit on two 2025 Tremor's from two different dealers. So I was just going to wait and buy the first one that got the fix. MRSP $42k OTD price is $43k. A few dealers have 2024 Lariat Tremor's MSRP $41k and OTD would be $38.5k. Would you just wait for 2025's or buy a 2024? Knowing that you get the infotainment system updates and the "new" 2.0l engine in the 25?

Everything new will be old soon but it’s a fun car for me and I am happy to wait a few weeks for the fix of the 2025, and I got about 2750 off msrp with the ford discounts.
