Weather or not I would buy this depends on the execution: will it color match?, or at least coordinate, will it stay put and not rapidly deteriorate or come loose?, at the same time I don't want it to permanently leave scarring if removed. All this is a tall order, I know. Especially at a price in which I would buy it.

I’ve already put a few boot scratches in that low kick panel. Isn’t it called a kick panel?
I don’t mind at all, my Mav is not a show truck.
Come to think of it, pretty much every vehicle I ever had got scratched there.
Yes, but there was a time when kick panels could endure for years with out significant scarring. I know, today the opposite has kind of become the norm.

Cover the door panel. Cover the paint in the bed. Cover the carpet, Cover the seats, Cover the dash.

Everything should be pristine for the person who buys the used truck? or to go to the junkyard? Let the next owner do all this if some scuffs scratches and stains bother them.

Sign me up for one set, my driver's door kick panel looks like, well, a KICK panel. While you are at it, I see all sorts of instrument and dash panel covers in all sorts of colors and carbon fiber. Does anyone have these items in a nice shiny burl wood pattern?

I have never kicked that area while sitting in the front seats but frequently impact the area near the door handle- I'd me more interested in something that protects touch points (I use a door handle, I do not kick my door open).
Hey, well some of us are clumsy.
I never MEAN to kick the door, but when I'm opening the door I sometimes just swing my foot out a bit too enthusiasticly and hit the door.
I'm always like 'damn.'

If it matches or compliments the interior colors yes!

My wife uses her foot to swing open the door. Bum knees, can’t bend. She opens door, pushes open partly, then uses foot to open fully. I guess I could be gentleman, jump out, open door myself. But honestly, just told her to not use damn foot. So far, working. I would seriously look into getting the door pad, at least 1 for pass side door.

This should be an "op immediate".

These would be amazing. I have a disability and every time I get out of the car I kick the door with the swing of my leg out the door. Every vehicle door I get out of ends up scuffed and scratched. I would love to test these and will be first in line to buy them when they arrive on Amazon.

My wife had mobility issues and I would b*tch at her to stop kicking the GD door open with her foot. Then she died at 59 and I wouldn't care if she were here if she kicked the GD door off the hinges. It is just a vehicle, your wife is irreplaceable.
First, sorry for your loss, would share similar feelings if mine, my dear darling, passes. Very true about that door. However if I can do something about it now would like to, cause I want her to have smooth, easy egress out of truck, kick it.
