I feel like 6 months is ridiculous, but I'm curious what everyone else's experience has been.

2022 Hybrid XLT LUX took 465 days from order to delivery.

My first Maverick took 15 months. Got canceled and then converted to a '23 in December. I wasn't alone and a lot of us here were croaking about the time and lack of communication.

I think the fact that I did not order 4K towing package sped this delivery up.
My dealer said that spray in bed liners were backed up too.
The dealer also told me that every month they have a few orders that they can escalate. He was nice enough to escalate mine!

So, about 8 months + 1 week. If it had come in 1 week earlier, it would have cost me $1500 more, as Employee pricing was announced just days before I picked it up! I'm good with that, it's my 2nd car really, sold my 2017 Ridgeline in October for it.

Those ordering the 2025 Maverick might not know how lucky you are! My order placed in September, 2022, arrived on 3/25/2024. Took a little over 18 months. Ordered a 2023 and received a 2024. Maybe now, 6 months doesn't seem so bad.

Ordered my 2025 Lariat AWD Hybrid in Eruption Green on Feb. 4th, build week of March 10th, listed as built on March 14th, shipped on March 18th, landed at Dealer April 2nd....drove it off the lot April 8th....Love it so far. Was pleasantly surprised how quick from order to build to delivered.

I remember those days, mine took about 16 months. Communication with Ford was pretty sketchy and we were all losing it. Soooo happy when it came.

Just a FYI, driving from Phoenix to Tucson today, I saw as least 20 haulers loaded with mostly Mavericks (some Bronco sports) headed north from Mexico..

My dealer told me six months to a year when I ordered my 24 Lariat. I just resigned myself to the fact and plan on waiting it out. I was delighted when I got the call from my dealer that it was there at 6 months almost to the day. It was worth the wait.

If you have an order placed, but has not been updated to scheduled you may find this video helpful. Ford tells the dealers what the current constraints are, what they can take more orders for, and provide input on how you can possibly get your order scheduled. This is a good channel to get the latest news.
