No they don't. The only fuel suggested for the hybrid is 87 octane with TopTier additives.

Yeah, it's a learning experience. The more you work the battery the better your mileage will be.I'm in texas, and got my mav april 12th, so temps here have been high 80s, with lows in the 70s, tbh I have 0 idea of the hybrid system is even acting right...idk when it's supposed to kick on, or how often
I've done great with a steady diet of Costco gas.No they don't. The only fuel suggested for the hybrid is 87 octane with TopTier additives.
My truck: 2024 Hybrid, 10,000 miles. I use 87 Octane. I do a 17 mile one way trip to work. In the morning I take ALL highway, up to 80 miles an hour is some parts...most parts about 60-70. On the way home I do the 17 miles on a back road....max speed limit is 45. I've been doing this same route for months. I consistently get 46 mph....EVERY week. Eco mode on the highway....Slippery mode on the back road. So yeah....mostly lower on the highway.....and super good on the back road....but it averages out to 46 mpg all day long. Not complainingi know this has probably been asked/said ad nauseam, however, i cant find anything on it. im currently sitting at 2720 miles on my 2025 maverick xlt hybrid fwd, the mileage im getting seems allot lower than most, back and forth to work(96 miles round trip) im averaging about 31.8 mpg, and that from fuelio.. doing about 55-65 mph. the split is about 75% highway and 25% city. how are people getting upwards of 38 on the interstate???? im usually sitting at about 27 mpg on the highways etc, city is where its bumping the average up.. is my truck still to new?
The EV Coach shows you when you're in Charging, Electric or Hybrid modes. You can also use it to learn how to stay in Electric mode longer & more frequently, to improve mileage.I'm in texas, and got my mav april 12th, so temps here have been high 80s, with lows in the 70s, tbh I have 0 idea of the hybrid system is even acting right...idk when it's supposed to kick on, or how often
So does driving on the highway with the windows down. Makes a not-very-aerodynamic vehicle even less so....AC isn't as bad on a hybrid, it does make the car less efficient.
I would think so, why wouldn't it?So does driving on the highway with the windows down. Makes a not-very-aerodynamic vehicle even less so.![]()
Break even point is somewhere around 55 mph. Since most "highways" are in excess of this. I will run A/C on the highways once above 80°F.So does driving on the highway with the windows down. Makes a not-very-aerodynamic vehicle even less so.![]()
How sure are you other factors did not change. Like weather. Like blend of gasoline. Like ethanol content. Like traffic or lack of.Usually buy Costco gas but in my area its either 87 regular oct or 89 higher oct. On only 87 oct my mpg is horrible at 34-38 if I use 89 oct I normally am always at 44mpg.
I like to have my rear slider opened and sunroof tilted to vent. No turbulence and I'm guessing, much better for MPG's than open side windows. Can do this in lieu of needing A/C in comfort to much warmer temps. So does driving on the highway with the windows down. Makes a not-very-aerodynamic vehicle even less so.![]()
What section/page? I looked at the section about jumping and there's a separate section for the Hybrid.FYI my hybrid "manual" also references the under hood battery, which there is none (that I have found).
