Its positioned directly over the hole. The lightbar isnt directly visible at standing height but its bright enough to be seen from a car. The wire going into the tailgate gets pushed to the top of the hole to make it fit. Being honest though, I'll probably try something else after this one. My first one had issues but they did warrantee it and gave me another at no charge so there is that.

It's amazing how much grey there is out there. Almost every parking lot I'm in my Mav is bringing the color.

Yeah, the overcast sky really brings out the gray lol. I work in the Admin Building of an industrial facility, and inside the gate is a whole bunch of white fleet trucks. It’s a big reason why Oxford White is at the bottom of my color preferences for a Maverick; no offense to anyone who has one.

Wanted to share my 2024 Atlas Blue XLT FX4. The one pic is in front of my manager's GMC 2500 AT4....his definitely sits much higher I thought it was a perfect opportunity for a size comparison.
