I looked in the manual, looking for auto door locking.

But !
With the key fob in my pocket I'd like my Mav to automatically, 'Lock Up' as I walk away.
Is this possible ? Did I miss a setting ?

It unlocks when I get within one foot of the door with the Key Fob.

My prior 2020 Escape had the unlock when I got close, my 24 Mav requires me to touch the door handle to unlock. Is there a setting for that, that I can change? Know the setting to unlock all doors, but that still requires me to touch the handle.

No walk away lock. You must touch the three lines on the top of the door handle to lock.

There is not a setting for that on any Ford vehicle except the Mustang Mach-E. There might be with ForScan but not from the factory.

Here's an idea: Hit the "Lock" button on the door when you exit the truck. Alternative idea: Hit the "Lock" button on your key fob after you exit the truck. Is this really a crisis? Do you really need the universe to accommodate your every wish with no action on your part?

Ford left it out of the manual and made it a mystery.

Many topics here claim that Mavericks lock themselves automatically.

I shouldn't have to grind my pelvis against my truck door to open it automatically.
