Yep. The product with an 8 year guarantee.
Yeah, no. Ceramic coating 8 yr guarantee is complete BS. I had my 2022 Kia Stinger coated with Adams Graphene Advanced. While it's good stuff, it does not last 8 years. You really need use the quick detailer graphene spray evey 6 months, which I have been negligent in doing, therefore, my car presently is in desperate need for a stripping and reapplication after 3 years. IDK what you actually used, but the Adam's is considered among the best ones on the market. Pretty sure I paid about $400 for the application from a local guy who works out of his garage and I supplied the product. This is considered a bargain compared to what shops charge. In retrospect, I think a quality wax job every 6-8 months might be a better value IMHO....everyone has there own opinion on waxes, sealants, coatings and it can quickly devolve. I'd only pay that kinda dough for PPF, which is in another league entirely and way better, when installed professionally.
Just my .02 cents

PS: Car does look great tho 👌

There's no comparison of Ceramic Coating to a good wax job. Ceramic Coating does last 3+ years and my best wax jobs only lasted a month or 2 months. I'm a big fan of Ceramic Coatings.

I've had 4 vehicles with Ceramic Coating...and "Adams Graphic Advanced" and "Carpro CQuartz CC" (usually around $100 to $120) micro-fiber rags from "The Rag Shack" usually run around $40 (Special microfiber rags) Those are probably the better coatings, I've used both, but of the 4 vehicles I've done both brands tend to start breaking down a little after 3-3 1/2 years...but that depends on if the truck/car is stored indoors...and continuing the "refresher" and "ceramic wash". My CC paint 3 yrs old still beads like a duck.

My 3 yr old Maverick CQuartz after 3 years. (I find 1 bottle of CC will do at least 2 vehicles.) I prefer doing the CC myself...Maverick took 7-8 hours. Only hard part of the Maverick was working off a ladder to do the hood and roof. The CC on the hood of the Maverick has the most CC applied but is the first to show need for attention.

You are talking about paint protection film correct, not ceramic wax?
A lot of companies are using the word "ceramic" loosely in their wax products. Real CC is almost like a micro thin coating of glass on the paint surface. CC is not a film...but a clear liquid water repellant chemical that has to be buffed on to the paint then harden indoors for 24 hours.

Most of my Porsche buddies use the CQuartz CC. A CC is not any more complicated than a wax job, but there's a cleaning step to clean the paint then applying the CC....not at all complicated. The Maverick OEM paint is quite thin and has a lot of paint imperfections, but a proper clay bar & CC fixes all that.

Sorry. I partially mispoke. I had the Ceramic Pro PPF applied to the front end and around the wheel wells, the front door windows tinted with 25% Carbon film, and the entire car treated with Xpel Fusion Plus Premium V2.

I'm going to put the ceramic on myself. About $155 for a pile from autogeek, including one time things like a clay mitt.

I'll wash with what I already had around (Meguiar's rinsless with microfiber already had), use the new clay mitt with pre-existing Meguiar detailing spray for lubricant, apply the pre-ceramic cleaner to remove any other remains product, and then the backfire ceramic,

I'm doing the entire trucklet, not just the front--this is about desert sun, not chipping.

Front bumper, vertical portion of front of hood, and arcs around each wheel well.
